"I reserved this 7:30 pm dinner reservation on my Opentable app 2 months in advance with a special note that we were celebrating both our family’s birthday and graduation so if possible, to please seat us at a table near the fountains. Since we were guests at the Bellagio hotel, we headed down early and arrived at 7:20 pm. When we arrived, our table was not ready and we were told if we wanted the fountain view we would have to wait. What’s the point of making a reservation 2 months in advance if a table cannot be prepped prior to guest arrival. Our family was hungry and we were not seated until 8:00 pm after having to ask the hostess 3 times about our table. The hostess took it upon themselves to change the reservation to 8:00 pm which was when we were seated, 40 minutes later, at a table that was not near the fountain view. No acknowledgement of our family celebrations either which I have never encountered using my open table app. Others restaurants acknowledge special occasions when I make special notations using the app. Disappointed to say the least."
