"excellent eating, friendly and attentive service, clean restaurant, clean toilets. so glad we stopped! my man and I had the california roll and jump rolls for appetizers. we also had the shoyu ramen with huh for our main course. during our meal the waiter asked if we want any chili paste or chili oil. because my man likes the things sharp, it was a welcome offer. he asked the chili oil, which was a delicious supplement to his meal. eating was very fresh and very well cooked. highly recommended!"

"The most disappointing hibachi experience I've ever had! I made reservations with a special occasion noted for a promotion. We got there a few minutes before the reservation and were rushed as soon as we walked in. I said we had a reservation and gave my name but they didn't care. When we got to the table, we thought some others were finishing. However, we were rushed to order literally a couple of minutes after being sat because the other party was actually finishing their appetizers and we had the same cook. As far as the food, bland. The lobster wasn't seasoned properly and flavorless. The fried rice tasted off and the vegetables weren't portioned properly for the table. As far as the steak, I had medium rare and my spouse ordered medium well. Both came off the grill at the same time and my spouses was not cooked as requested. Lastly, a party of 2 had a gratuity of 20% automatically added. I wouldn't have cared if the service matched but it didn't. The service was rushed and so was the meal. We were out of there in about an hour from walking in. What was to be a special occasion turned into a subpar experience. I do not recommend and will not be back!"

"Richmond Va speakeasy bar.. This is a Speakeasy Seriously. They have a password that changes all the time. It's disguised as a book store, but with a pull on the tall bookshelves, it opens into a large period correct , prohibition era cocktail lounge and restaurant. "the only thing that quickly came to the table was the check. the waiter was good, he was super busy, but he did the best he could. our eating came out at different times, so we were not able to eat our meal together. we sat on a table and at the end of dinner there was a service fee on each of our bills. come to find out the service fee is not the waiter tipp it is an additional fee the restaurant added. when we were asked about the service fee, we were told that there was a fee the restaurant added to pay the people in the return. that means that they have charged each one of us to cook our food or just come to the restaurant) so we had from a party of 6 all a service fee of 5,50 or more depending on how much they were, plus we had to type the waiter. on the way out, I did not see 1 sign that there is a service fee to be added to my bill. I will never go back to this restaurant as long as they have a service fee. the price for food plus service fee plus tipp is the hokkaido experience!"

"Awesome atmosphere and food. A huge amount of food if you 're eating from the fresh hibachi grill. Expect to pay about $25 per person. Great visit. Most recent visit Set about 30 minutes until a chef got to our table; the waitress wasn 't that great. She got a few orders wrong, other than late salads/soups; it wasn 't anything the chef couldn 't correct. (Chicken could 've been cooked more) However, I did notice tonight that if they happen to seat you on the end of the grill to the far left of the chef, you will get the least amount of food LoL, but I still recommend visiting. Update 7/15/24 got seated at the end again. Lol, my daughter and I were fighting over food. The chef seemed to give the guys bigger portions than the girls as well. The food was ok today. First time it hasn 't been great, but I guess everyone cooks different. It only takes one time of the food being ok to ruin your taste for that food, though."

"THE BEST FRIED RICE, ever. I got the steak fried rice, and it's much different from traditional Chinese fried rice. It's so good, taste so fresh and the steak is never hard to chew it's always cooked to perfection. I've been here with my familymultiple different times and I can defiantly say they are consistent as well. The customer service is wonderful, all the staffwe have encountered with have been kind and taken care care of us. The sushi is amazing! It's very fresh every time we have it.The seasoning of the chicken is so good and comes with this delicious sweet sauce. THE PORK EGG ROLLS amazing! crunchygoodness every time! The ramen noodles were great too, the broth had such a great flavor. Everything we've tried has been greatand we will keep coming back here. Not pictured is the steak with noodles, also so good. "The service was good with a knowledgeable server but the food had issues. The person who prepared the Oysters did not know how to correctly, they were mangled up in the shell, not whole. The Steaks were no great, very little flavor. The mashed potatoes had no seasoning at all. Dessert and service were the best parts of the meal."

After our dishes which arrived in a a staggering fashion, were finally able to check out after hunting down the waitress. My wife and I have had stomach issues that night and the next day. "If you want to be served immediately that probabbly do not pass, then order Apetizer first, unless the entire area is empty, as the person serves only 1 page at a time. It was good, the show was funny and even my cousin, who was a bit grumpy, ended up with a better mood. While waiting to be cut, it was funny to see the other tables that were served. On the Sushi Apetizers they serve Nigiri, which I expected sushi roles so I was a bit confused, but it was cool. They also give Sake which is alcohol, so if you don't drink and they offer to spray something on your mouth, say no alcohol and they will give baby Sake which is Iced tea which they give to the children."

"Love Cathy's Place, my home away from home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, remembers my name and knows all my family members. I moved to Brooklyn over a year ago from WV and this place has become my haven. I always feel at home when I am here. Sometimes magical things happen too, like when the customers and the staff join in singing to Oldies playing on the Sound System. Food is home-made and very tasty. Don't go here when in a hurry as you will want to linger over your tasty meal and company."

"I ordered two rolls, egg rolls and crabs Rangoon. A decent $55 meal. The best I ate was the crab Rangoon, probably frozen. The reels were not rolled and disassembled at all. Made with brown avocado and framed seaweed very appetite. Next we have the egg rolls good that we share them in the first half. We were greeted by a long stretchable raw dough center. If I could imagine how the feet tasted, I would imagine that it was nailed fantastically with the meat ( whatever the meat was). I'm just giving you one because the FROZEN Rangoon was the whole star of this course. Thanks for the wasted money? Do you have a day FYI if you have a better role check your local Hyve or gas station"
