"My comment is regarding Open Table. The system showed they were full most of the evening. In reality there were very few people there. The host looked when I mentioned it and saw that the time slots showed booked (but were not). I would guess the restaurant missed out on significant business because of this."

"first, when we were there, they did not have our reservation, although I did it on the line and then called to confirm. So we had to wait half an hour for a table. then we ordered drinks and waited another half an hour before our waitress came back for appetizers. so we ordered our meals at the same time. we got our appetizers, but waited an hour 15 for our food. guess what we were past hunger and eating was so because we had to wait so long, they offered free desserts. only one was good and that was the brownie. apfel crispy sucked and so did the banana pudding. we enjoyed our time together, but never went back whole deal sucked."

"The best option at this restaurant is definitely the ribs. The brisket sandwich is dry and lacking in flavor. The pulled pork is decent for a BBQ joint. The ribs were quite delicious. The side dishes are average. The takeout service is frequently overlooked unless you flag down someone at the bar."

"Our server, Delcee, was fantastic. We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and the food was delicious. The drinks were also excellent. I requested to have a dessert to celebrate his birthday without drawing attention to our table, and Delcee honored that perfectly. She brought out a complimentary sundae without making a big announcement to the entire restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"We made a reservation before come for a party of 5 on a busy Saturday night. We were 10 minutes early and by no means did we expect to be seated immediately, however the hostess first response before even asking my name was we don't have a table. I asked even with a reservation and she said oh yeah I see it there still a wait and I said I understood. Our food was great however our waiter was a bit scattered and it seemed as several other servers were helping him and they were not communicating. Our food took about an hour to come out and surprisingly it was my salad that I had to wait for...lol lettuce who would have thought."

"We did an order pickup to take home for the hungry family. We did the bbq family feast the Cajun shrimp boil. Can't complain about the Feast: nicely bbq'd meats. The Cajun shrimp boil was a little disappointing, slightly watery and not very spicy (it is advertised as Cajun). The shrimp tasted like they came from frozen (not very fresh). There could have been a fight over the few shrimp in the dish IF they would have been fresher. On the happy side, Famous Dave's now offers whole Bakers Square pies!"

"There was no sign up stating we had to order ourselves. We sat for over half an hour and no one came to ask us about a beverage or an order. We had a Famous Daves where we lived years ago and the waitress or waiter came to us. They closed so when we saw one in Toledo we drove hours to enjoy the great food. We were extremely disappointed. Will never drive that much to go to a Famous Daves again."

"I dislike giving bad reviews. Early dinner time. Service wasn't horrible. The food was not good. Example: My wife ordered the ribs with baked potato and baked beans. The ribs were not cooked to the “fall off the bone” goodness. The baked potato was so bad in taste she couldn't eat but two bites of it before asking to replace it with another side of beans. Later that evening, she had gotten sick with food poisoning type symptoms. We won't be returning."

"was really hoping the food would be good. horrible experience. none of the cooks were wearing gloves or hairnets. we found hair in our food, multiple hairs. i watched one of the cooks pick food up with her bare hands and place it in a margarita cup and serve it. made everyone throw up behind the dumpster. never again."

"Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, our server was very attentive. We enjoyed Texas brisket, Georgia Pork, St. Louis Ribs, and of course some rib tips (I love 'em and you usually get a lot, since many people feel they are inferior)! All the meat was tender with a modest amount of bbq sauce. We had plenty of other sauces at the table to choose from for additional meat-smothering goodness. We rounded it off with some broccoli and Wilbur beans. Seating was okay due to coming in at 3pm, but I can imagine rush hour being a bit cramped. My advice would be to come either mid afternoon or after 7pm for the best seating and service."

"Great brisket and sides! Great service! One question, however...why are the floors so slippery? This is a legit question...whatever is used to clean them, even made my shoes slippery on the floor mats in my truck. Very odd environment...possibly dangerous even!?
