"I had my first omakase experience several years ago at Sasabune, and it was unforgettable. Recently, my girlfriend and I decided to indulge in sushi, and after some research, we chose to revisit Sasabune. We sat at the bar and watched as the talented chefs prepared a variety of exquisite dishes, from appetizers to sashimi to nigiri. The flavors and textures were outstanding, with each course surpassing the last. We tried dishes like uni from Hokkaido, lobster prepared two ways, toro, squid, mackerel, and more. Despite feeling full, we couldn't resist finishing the two remaining courses. The service was exceptional, with constant refills of water and tea and prompt clearing of dishes. The highlight of the meal was a lightly broiled lobster topped with a delicious mayo-based sauce. Even dishes I typically don't enjoy, like uni, were surprisingly tasty. I would definitely return to Sasabune for another special occasion, as it has set the bar high for sushi dining experiences."
