"When the call for tacos arises from within, I answer! Stopped in on a random day during lunch time after a quick Google search for nearby tacos (the real stuff). *Beware, not many parking spaces those that are available have specific days/times for street cleaning which means you’ll be asking for a ticket as you enjoy your meal. The items chosen were of course tacos, mine the pescatarian version. While the menu was long very inclusive- I think it was a bit too much for me. I like a more simple style menu that includes appetizers and entrees in an easy to read format… Nonetheless, this did not take too much away from the dining experience for me because I already knew what I wanted. You’re pretty much automatically served chips and the request was made for a small guacamole to add. Unfortunately that requested was fulfilled with guacamole topped with cheese…Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking the forward thinking. But in these days times I like the option of requesting dairy/toppings. There’s plenty of dietary restrictions which often turn people away from eating out, but I also think there’s plenty of room to a accommodate many of those restrictions simply by offering buildable dishes allowing patrons to build them based on their preferences. I digress…The entrees that were ordered (birria shrimp tacos) didn’t come out too quick, were hot with noticeable steam, very colorful. Unfortunately, they lacked seasoning- salt specifically. I appreciated the freshness of the dish, ingredients, and presentation… but what is good food without seasoning? Is it still good??I need my senses I awakened. Not only do I want to taste the food, I want to fully indulge in the experience. Everything else was great-our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere felt homey. I just needed the seasoning! ??"
