"El Michoacano is a restaurant we've frequented for years since their initiation. They basically specialize in mariscos (seafood) Their shrimp cocktail is excellent, second to none. The shrimp ceviche and fish ceviche (marinated raw fish and shrimp) are great also and they serve huge portions, specially for takeout. The ambiance, lighting of the restaurant is somewhat dark in the booth sections of the restaurant but at the same time can serve to be very relaxing. The waitresses are polite and efficient. The atmosphere, low lighting, lends itself for couples looking for an intimate night out or also for an ordinary, everyday family outing."
