"I had high expectations for Geneva Gelato, but unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the Peanut Butter Cookie and Chocolate flavors, both of which were vegan options. However, these flavors were the last ones left in the container and had been sitting for a while. The chocolate flavor had a lot of ice crystals and the Peanut Butter Cookie flavor had a sticky, syrupy texture. Additionally, they charge extra for vegan flavors, making the already high prices even more expensive. I paid almost $9.00 for the cup shown in the picture, but I could have gotten two pints of vegan Ben & Jerry's at Wegmans for the same price and better quality. They have a minimum $5.00 charge for credit card transactions, which I find acceptable. However, they also add a $0.59 surcharge for using a credit card, which I believe is unreasonable. While they claim this fee is to avoid raising prices or penalizing cash customers, I think they should just include credit card fees in their overall costs. As a small business owner, I understand that credit card fees can be costly, but in 2021, they are considered a standard operating expense. Overall, I would not recommend Geneva Gelato and will not be returning."
