"My husband and I went to Harbor House for Valentines Day. At first, it’s a bit unimpressive...mainly a bar with a scattering of high top and standard dining tables. It’s pretty spartan and lacking in any particular charm or ambiance, but it’s sharp and clean and modern. What most impressed us was the food and service. It was a pretty limited menu but everything we had was delightfully tasty and attractively-presented, and the service was uncommonly friendly and attentive. Romantic? Not so much, but fun and friendly with great food."

"I had breakfast. It opened at 7a.m. and close at 3 p.m. We arrived around 8:30, not busy was seated promptly. The waitress was friendly and arrived at our table promptly. The breakfast menu has crepes, omelets, pancakes, breakfast skillets and egg dish options and BISCUITS. Coffee was hot and strong, the way I like it. They do serve lunch, I didn't look at lunch menu. The food arrived quickly and was tasty and hot. I will be going back again."

"As a golfer, this place is on the bucket list. It was WORTH IT! First, show up a little early so you can walk around the gift shop, club house, and grounds. We also were there at 6:30 to capture the perfect sunset. They start your order with homemade potato chips and onion dip. I purchased a ginger beer and then my wife and I ordered the drugstore burger with onion rings and the tomato soup with grilled cheese. Both were very good, the burger was fresh, juicy, and the epitome of a classic cheeseburger. The only thing that could have been a little better would be the temperature of the soup, just a tad on the cool side, but I like soup piping hot. Perfect date night location, and make sure to reserve a table outside."

"This was the worst experience we’ve had at the Tavern. First of all they were entirely out of Chardonnay and Cabernet wines by the glass. Seems ridiculous as this restaurant is located in a high end hotel. I asked for dressing on the side of my entree salad and it came with the dressing on. My husband’s meal a salad was tasteless. We were quite disappointed as we’ve always had a good experience. For the price you can find much better food and service"

"You cannot go wrong with brunch at Starwood. I ordered a veggie skillet and every bite was perfect. It's hearty, so I suggest making it a brunch choice. I ordered a pancake side and, as someone very picky about my pancakes, I was very pleased! Coffee was great too.The stars of Starwood are the wonderful staff. Our server (I didn't catch her name but Lakya was on the receipt) was witty, fun, quick, and made us feel very welcomed on our visit. We left with a terrific impression of the place in no small part due to her service."

"We arrived on a Monday around 11:30 Am for Brunch. This is such a quiet and secluded place that is lush, private and has excellent views. We ordered off of the Brunch Menu which showcased many tantalizing options. One of our selections includedthe Duet was a combination of Crab Cake and Steak. The presentation was on point along with the flavors. We also had theTotopos which was a wonderful combination of wontons, manchego cheese and shrimp. Imagine a high end shrimp nacho plate thatlooked and tasted great! The Mango Mimosas were a great accompaniment to the dishes. For dessert we had the Ginger Cake. Ithas just the right amount of ginger and not too sweet. Luis (Server) provided 5 star service throughout our stay! We willdefinitely go back again!"

"The menu at this restaurant is diverse and intriguing. We opted for the small plates and shared them. The standout dish was the goat cheese tortellini. However, we were disappointed to find out that they were out of Bombay gin at the bar, and our waiter couldn't suggest a suitable alternative. Perhaps he could have checked with the bartender. Additionally, we found the price of a double of Angel's Envy Bourbon at $21 to be quite high. On a different note, we also tried the breakfast menu. The lox and bagel was both tasty and reasonably priced at $15. Our breakfast waiter provided exceptional service."

"I would recommend this place in any case for the banana pancakes and roasted kartoffels. they do not have too many vegan options, but the options they have are clearly marked w . if they added a few vegan items and they were just as good as the pancakes would be an even better place to eat. they have a wonderful full fruity with mandling, walnuts, rusty, shrunk cocosus, blueberries, strawberries, bromberries, blueberries and more, which is contained with one of their pancakes/French toast etc. the fertile is definitiw, which makes the meal. "Eggs Benedict remains one of my favorite breakfasts so their special was intriguing: the Korean inspired Bulgogi Eggs Benedict. Basically, the classic benedict but instead of thinly sliced ham it is Korean bbq beef that is topped by the 2 poached eggs* and instead of hollandaise there was a mild gochujang sauce. For $20. It was very tasty poached eggs on the Benedict were lovely. Our server Erin was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding customer service. Also ordered the piña colada pancakes which indicated there would be pineapple on top and was pretty excited to see the coconut cream arrive. Everything went well until a bite into it the pancake revealed there were unexpectedly actual coconut flakes inside which introduces the texture that is not a favorite. Erin actually went back and took a look at the menu and realized the description missed that element, and refunded that order on our tab. Despite that the flavor profile was really wonderful. I would gladly order a version without coconut flakes in it. Friend ordered the huevos rancheros (gf) (v) $16 with 2 corn tortillas 2 eggs* any style mole verde spicy beans queso diablo pickled onion. Highly recommend for brunch. Just make sure to use the reservation service because the lines are long otherwise."

"Ordered a smoothie 2 months ago and after waiting 5mins I realized they forgot to make it.Ordered another one today and paid for a medium but I received a small. What upset me is that they asked me how to deal with the problem like it was an annoyance to them. They offered to either redo it but kind of hinting that they didn’t want that, or offered me a dollar credit to spend in the store. No apologies for wasting my time again. Keep the dollar as my final farewell tip."

"Went with some friends for breakfast this morning and ordered the vegan hash. The only other options were Vegan banana pancakes or oatmeal, so I went with what seemed like the most interesting option. The hash itself was basically just a few slices of tofu atop a bunch of veggies and potatoes (luckily I added avo for extra flavor! and a piece of toast on the side. It tasted fine, but nothing special. They did have a pretty good local hot sauce that I poured over top, but at the end of the day it was really just basic vegetables and some plain tofu! Not worth it for the price, but at least it was a pretty large portion and I took some of it home for later."

"Wonderful restaurant! I’ve been wanting to try this place for some time and we finally were able to. Upon entering, the staff was kind and told us to seat ourselves. We chose a booth next to pancakes bar. A waiter promptly came to us and provided drinks and answered questions. We are diary free (me) and GF and vegan (her) and this was very easy to accommodate for. I tried the ranchers plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes and a side of the amazing GF vegan banana pancakes oh wow! And she had the Buddha bowl with tofu, lentils and veggies! Food was delicious! Pancake toppings bar was fun. Service was good. We even tried a blueberry mimosa yum. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back!"

"Hidden Treasure in Wood's Hole!! This is a fully stocked grocery store, the only one in Woods Hole or vicinity for several miles, with a great selection of fresh veggies and produce, drinks and snacks, and sundrys. There is a full deli with pizza, fresh homemade soups, wonderful fresh hot or cold sandwiches made to order while you wait. Fresh pastries brought in daily from Hyannis. The real shocker however is the doc and deck out back! Order your hot fresh food and pick out a drink and a side and then carry it out back to eat on the lovely dock or climb the stairs and there is an absolutely gorgeous deck overlooking The lagoon with local scenery to die for! You would never know all of this was here just by driving past on the street. I rented a bicycle in Falmouth and rode the four easy miles up the rail trail which comes out right at the woods hole steamship parking lot. Super convenient! if you are staying in Falmouth and want to take the ferry to Martha's vineyard, this would be an especially scenic, enjoyable, and convenient way to do so. there would be a much cheaper fair on the boat versus taking a car because you are considered a pedestrian. You can explore Martha's vineyard on a bike or by foot and then take the ferry back. Then go downtown and enjoy this wonderful dining experience or just pick up some provisions. I had a fabulous dinner for under $20 wirh an incredible view. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won't be sorry. Fantastic selection and super friendly staff! Then go down to Rocky Beach to take in the sunset!"
