"The view of the bay is what gives this restaurant a value added. Unfortunately, it is winter and at dinner, it is now dark So the focus becomes the food and service. The food is average, no spark here. The service was a little above Average. It was a slow evening and there were only two couples left for dinner. The staff were closing down for the night and so we felt like we should leave, but our guest wanted dessert and coffee. I felt like an unwanted guest with people pushing me out the door. The view and the ambiance of the Inn is special. My recommendation to guests is go here for breakfast and Happy Hour. it is unfortunate that the Inn does not serve lunch. If I was the owner, I would emphasize the location and get a good breakfast/ lunch chef. Take a break and then deliver excellent pub grub for Happy Hour and call it a night at around 7-7:30. There are too many excellent foodie places on the coast for this restaurant’s dinner to compete. Use the view, to keep people coming. Focus on breakfast, lunch and Happy Hour. If you want something for late night, keep the bar open and serve Charcuterie and bruschetta/ flatbreads. this Inn is a jewel in the rough."
