"Kismet came highly suggested, and being new members of the neighborhood, we were eager to try it out. It did not disappoint! Service was great as soon as we walked in the door, and we were seated quickly despite not having a reservation (I suggest parties larger than 2 definitely make reservations because it was very busy). Our waitress was lovely and helped us pick from the menu, she had great suggestions. As someone who doesn't partake in alcohol but enjoys fun drinks, I asked her if they had any mocktails to which she took it upon herself to have something crafted up special for me. You don't get that kind of service most places and I really appreciated it.Having just moved from further south where tomatoes are pridefully green, Kismet's fried green tomatoes were outstanding! I've never had any breaded and fried as well as theirs. I enjoyed an order of them with a side salad (house made dressings were to die for), my partner got the ribeye steak and cleaned his entire plate.Overall the experience was lovely and I feel lucky to be within a short stroll of Kismet. I can see now what all the (rightfully deserved) hype was all about."
