"my excitement to take my wife to eat at bb for months. I heard about it in the wmal radio and couldn't wait. I would read and read their website. the first red flag was when I asked for reservations. the person who answered the phone simply said hello, not answer with the name of the restaurant, so I had to ask to ensure. then I could hardly understand what they said, so I called again when it came closer to the special date. the same thing happened. Thank you, when we arrived, we had reservations, because noone was allowed to feed only when they had stopped. now for a culinary experience. our waiter was new and knew nothing about the bourbons and even told me about the available flights. he also knew nothing about any of the foods because managment and peculiarities do not offer any possibilities for one of the server to try them. obsurd. now to the only positive part of the experience, except the company of my amazing braut of 39 years. eating was amazing. one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife's cured. the seafood we had with the steak (scallops and lobsters) were also perfectly cooked and were amazing. all that has said, the hard wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and your almost sitting in the round of the people beside you. we had to be lucky to sit next to a Gung-ho-Military guy who thought the F word was manifold. we must have heard it at least 75 times. Thank God it was good to eat. one last thing. eating is too expensive."

"We were downstairs and the ambiance was cool. We were celebrating our anniversary and the noise level made it very difficult to have our own conversation. The oysters were small but tasty, the tartare was way too large of a portion. The Risotto was mushy and little flavor. The wine pairings were not good. Dessert cheesecake was delicious but very large piece and the wine pairing was also delicious. We will not return."

"We get there for Thanksgiving dinner with high-quality restaurant expectations. My wife chose the Thanksgiving menu with carrot ginger soup, turkey apple cake and I chose Arancini, rib and pumpkin cake. We chose 3 bottles of wine, but none of them was available, and this wine decision process lasted almost 30 minutes. After all, we get 2 glasses of wine and we could drink with our last bites of our appetizers. Then came after a little waiting main courses and we both got the turkey. I said I asked for rib. They went back, I waited again and they brought the rib. That was the process. Portions were humiliated, that's what you expect on a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, the Brussels sprouts and the cunning potatoes were much too salty, but the overall food was good. The desserts were super delicious. I would have expected a better service at this price. Recommended, but ask your server for less salt!!!"

"To begin, I must say that Little Alley has always been our favorite restaurant for hosting guests or commemorating a special occasion. The food, the service, and the atmosphere have always been top-notch. However, last night was a disappointment. My red grouper was dry, and both side dishes had to be sent back by our guest. There was clearly an issue with the creamed corn and the Au gratin potatoes. We still have faith in this restaurant, but we hope they can improve their performance."

"Been many times and service is hit or miss. Our waiter brought us the wrong salad. We pointed to the exact salad we wanted from the menu. When we told him that he brought the wrong dish, he argued with me, wouldn’t bring what I ordered and stormed off. "Had not been to this restaurant since the pandemic started. I had a reservation for mid afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant was extremely noisy in the main dining room and I was not able to get the desired table in the side room on Union Street. The service could have been better, as the wrong dishes were initially brought to the table. Although I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Very disappointing!"

"We go here because the cocktails are great and there is real lime juice for margaritas. The back deck is chill to hang out on and the people are very nice. I really enjoyed both the tuna and especially the meatball appetizers. Great marinara. Captain Josh will take you on a pontoon boat ride of the lake for $10 per person. I recommend this at sunset. The only things needing real improvement are the tables and chairs on the patio. The wood is dried out and looks like splinter potential. Overall a fun place to enjoy drinks, food and atmosphere."

"This is my second time at the McCormick and Schmick in Oak Brook. But it has been several years since the last time.The food was was a HUGE disappointment. Thankfully our waiter Glenn was fantastic. Our reservation was for 2:30 PM and we ordered from the Restaurant Week menu, New England clam chowder and that was okay and not a bad start. I ordered the Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass and the fish was tasteless and overcooked. The tomatoes on top of the gnocchi and fish were grape tomatoes that should have been warmed and were cold on top of a hot dish. My sister ordered the Blackened Chicken Fettuccine and you could clearly see that the chicken was as hard as a hockey puck, dry and distasteful. The shrimp was also overcooked. And from the regular menu we had the Chilled Seafood Tower for two. None of the seafood had any of flavor. It was also overcooked and bland. It almost seemed as if the seafood was from two days prior. Needless to say I will definitely not be call me back to that restaurant and spending that kind of money. There was definitely no quality control or care for the food or customer experience, unfortunately."

My wife had everything you can eat crab legs and I got the seafood risotto with scallops, blue crabs, and added black shrimps. Crab legs were perfectly cooked. The Risotto was just understated, but the taste was more than made for him and definitely was not worth a complaint. I have the Bourbon glazed bread pudding for dessert that was amazing! Although every detail was not perfect, the service and experience was so good, it doesn't matter. Some constructive criticism, but otherwise you keep the great work. "As dog enthusiasts, we found this restaurant listed as pet-friendly on BringFido. However, upon arrival, it seemed as though the staff was not accustomed to customers bringing their dogs. We had to request a bowl of water for our pup, and the server brought a plastic container with a loose lid that spilled water everywhere when our dog tried to drink from it. Unfortunately, this mishap negated the bathroom break we had paid for earlier in the day."
