"The food was good and well prepared. I have the Grouper, shrimp and scallops over rice with a cream sause. Me and my wife are gluten free and the waiter and restaurant accommodated our allergies with no issues. The wine was reasonably priced and the drinks were also. The view was excellent as it over looks the jetty inlet and the boats coming and going was relaxing. Waiter was pleasent and made the evening enjoyable. Overall a good experience! We will go back."

"what a waste – the reservation made and went only to find that the place was closed! they called them and received a recording that they were temporarily closed for unforeseen events. problem with open table is that, although google maps the restaurant shown as temporarily closed, open table bot still reservations for this evening."

"We have made reservations for today (Mother Day) and we sat immediately, although the place was filled with families. The service was amazing, the apps and meals were hot and fresh, my daughter asked about the Macaroni and cheese and for the first time I didn’t pay $6 for what almost always half a box of power Mac n’ cheese. It was delicious pasta with one of the best homemade cheese sauces I ever had. All went with full belly buttons and left!"

"I 've never had a bad experience here. Staff always friendly, food always good. Choose your time wisely though. It can get really backed up. And another valuable tip, . If you can afford to order the catch of the day, I always go with the grilled or broiled snapper with the crab oscar. It 's super decadent. I also always start with the one, one,and one. A taste of the crab soup, the gumbo, and my fav. the turtle soup with sherry to top it. SO GOOD for a starter. And If they still do this, Dont forget the homemade hot doughnuts served table side with shaken sugar and cinnamon in the brown paper bag. Finally you must have The Chrissy to finish. Dont be afraid to dip the hot doughnuts into the cold Chrissy."

"I had the fish and chips and my enkelin and her friend had the chicken tsarges and pommes. we all agreed that they were delicious; rightly made that the diligent was crispy and the meat/fish was done and not greasy. the same with the pommes. I enjoyed the local brew I drank. we liked the decoration with all pictures of the old oyster bay. the staff was very friendly, efficient and friendly. very nice place."

"This was my first time visiting this place and I loved it! The food was delicious!!! And the service was great! No complaints at all. We went for brunch and tried the bottomless mimosas, best choice because the champagne was really good and cold. I found the prices very reasonable. I also tried the oysters and wow! So so good. I will definitely visit again!"

"this is a great little restaurant with a wonderful thema and a friendly, courteous staff. this is our third time here and we love the subscriptions deviled eier and they also have the best grilled romaine caesar in the city. the act of my wife was cooked to perfection and was only $29. I had a pig special, milanese ala sinatra and, although it had a big taste, was a little overdue, but maybe I was just jealous of the filet. they have also upgraded our wine, as our first selection was not available and it was excellent. Additionally, I got it vivinoed and she practically gave it away. I'd send everyone here trusting."

"Steak was fantastic. I had a rib eye and my wife had a filet mignon. They both were very, very good...top quality. The sides were good, nothing specifically any better than somewhere else but they were good. The dessert was not that great. I had a toffee cake and the cake wasn't very good. The cake seemed way too thick and like it was not mixed properly. My wife had the creme brulee which she said was quite good. The atmosphere is very nice. The wait staff was very, very nice. Overall a good place to go. Maybe there are some some better choices for specific food, but it's still a very nice place with no regrets. I'd like to see it when they have the live music."

"I had planned a club meeting here 9 months ago. I checked with restaurant about 3 weeks before updating for the number of participants. they called 20 minutes before the closing time 2 days before the meeting to tell me they had to cancel us “due to unforeseen circumstances”. this has left me one day to find a new venue for the meeting and to contact all members about the change. I will never go back there and I will tell others about it."

"This was the fourth time there and have always had a great experience but this time the food wasn’t as good. Waitress was great. Thai Calamari is always our favorite to get but was too tough. Roasted chicken was cold and a bit rubbery. Salmon and shrimp scampi was not very tasty. Gelato was fantastic though. Hopefully it was an off night for the chef."

"My family has been coming to enjoy the food at Michael’s for years, even since my parents were kids. The food is always outstanding, tableside freshly made caesar is a must. I order from the section of menu that is prepared at the table. I highly recommended the steak Diane, the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and the juice of the dish is so good I could drink it lol. Michael Sr. Is truly a talented man and still after many years, he has not lost his magic touch in the culinary field. Not to mention the owner, family, and staff are wonderful and caring people. Love it here, it is an absolute hidden gem."

"My husband and I went for date night. We started with clams on the half shell, which my husband loved. Sweet and shucked properly. For our mains, I had the surf and turf, which came out perfectly! My husband enjoyed the crab cakes. Portions were big, so bring your appetite. The service was on point. Jess was attentive, professional and very thoughtful. We loved our experience last night!"

"The food is outstanding! Best Alfredo I've ever had! The garlic knots were fresh and so good, the pasta was amazing as was the salad my husband had and my soup. The waiter was so attentive and super nice and it was a great price. If my Italian grandpa comes to visit this is definitely the place I am taking him. Overall an amazing sit down restaurant, I wish I knew to wear something nicer than jeans and a tee but it wasn't a problem."
