"Gave a cash tip with our card payment for service. Was brought back the card/receipt to sign where we were then informed of an automatic gratuity that couldn't be removed. An automatic gratuity should have been mentioned from the moment we sat down, and at the very least been mentioned when we tried to offer the cash. Terribly disappointing for a place with quality food."

"Very good food, feels healthy. But they gave very bad service. Basically they made a mistake with my order and insisted that I pay for both the order they messed up on as well as the correct order. Let me explain. I got the lunch special and asked for brown rice. They brought my plate with white rice. I immediately went and told them, before touching my plate. The woman I told (the manager) said they would bring out the brown rice for me. I sat back down and was very hungry and ate a bite of the white rice while waiting for the brown to arrive. Later I saw that they charged me for a side of brown rice. I asked my waitress about the charge and she said it is because brown rice costs more than white rice. I said yes it's supposed to be 75 cents substitution fee but you charged me for a whole side of rice. I went to the manager who said that because I touched the white rice, they couldn't take it back to the kitchen and give it to someone else, so i needed to pay for the side. And the waitress started to argue with me and say that I ordered white rice which I would never do. Eventually she agreed to refund me for the difference. I tried to talk with both of them about what just happened and they flat out ignored me, like literally pretended I wasn't there. I have never heard of this kind of policy in any restaurant, about taking back food that wasn't touched and giving it to someone else. I would not have touched it if they had told me about it when I first requested the change. I am very disappointed because I enjoy their food. Because of their poor service, I do not recommend Bua Luang Thai Restaurant."

"Cute little spot with fresh Thai food and fun presentation. Parking can take a few extra minutes but there's usually not more than a 5 minute walk. Romantic lighting and nice decor. Located on a busy pedestrian street among other businesses, nice for walking around after a meal."

"I understand that vegan options are limited in Imperial, but unless you are dining in and prepared for issues, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. I have ordered takeout and delivery many times, and almost every time there has been a mistake with my order - missing rice, missing veggies, and most recently, they gave me chicken when I requested a vegan meal. Additionally, orders take a very long time to prepare. I have been told it will take 30 minutes over the phone, only to arrive an hour later and still be waiting for my order. Despite the lack of customers inside, the staff doesn't seem to prioritize accuracy or care about accommodating vegan diners. It's disappointing because their vegan options are tasty when done correctly, but the high rate of errors makes it difficult for me to return."

"Best Thai food in Baltimore and possibly in the whole country lol. The amount of food they give you for the price is amazing. Worth every penny! Ive tried everything on the menu but my go to is always get the Ginger Pad Thai , Pineapple Cashew Nut Fried Rice and the Crispy rolls. "Consistently delicious food at this restaurant. We love Thai food, and Siamese Street is one of our favorites! The chef will prepare the food with your choice of protein beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp and to the spice level of your choice. Food is always fresh and yummy! "I walked into this restaurant expecting something average, but what I found was a hidden gem. I am from North Carolina and travel frequently, and one of my favorite cuisines is Thai food. In my opinion, the best way to judge a Thai restaurant is by their soup and rice. The rice here is perfect - aromatic and delicious. The tom kha gai soup is perfection! It is spicy, creamy, and full of lime leaves, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It is truly great. Additionally, I had a peek at the kitchen and discovered that the lady who runs it grows most of her own veggies and herbs. Fresh mint sprigs were on the counter and lemongrass was being prepped in the back. If this place doesn't impress you, then you must not have experienced authentic Thai cuisine."

"I have to start by confessing my love of torment. This is the restaurant that claims my Thai food novelty back a few 13 to 14 years. Torung has also helped to promote my love for spicy foods as a whole. That means I was never the type to add spices to my food to reach a certain level of heat. Torung simply has very delicious food, some of which are too spicy. From appetizers, soups, noodles and other fried dishes, this place does most correctly. They open at 5:00 and usually in an innocent hour, I think at 3:00. One of my few handles about this restaurant is one when many Asian restaurants are guilty, they charge you for steamed white rice. Maybe because I grew up with free rice, but this is a tiny thing that kills me. Can you imagine having a beautiful green curry without rice? I think I have to learn to live with this reality."

"We ordered our usual dishes, which we get twice a week, but both had meat in them (which we do not eat). We tried calling the restaurant but there was no answer, so we assumed they were closed. We ended up throwing the food away and went hungry for the night after a long 16-hour day. The next day, we called to ask for a refund but were told they would not refund us without returning the product. We explained that we had already thrown the food away as it was garbage day. We also noticed that we had paid more than usual, thinking it was a price increase, but it turned out the higher price was due to the meat. We were disappointed that we paid more for food we couldn't even eat and then were told to bring it back. We have been loyal customers for over 7 years, ordering the same thing for the past 5 years, but after this experience, we have decided not to give them our business anymore. It's disappointing that businesses do not stand behind their products like they used to."

"Seriously amazing! It is kind of in a strip mall and has photos of the food on the outside of the building. The outside almost turned us away, but that definitely doesn’t reflect the taste of the amazing food. The inside was very clean (one of the cleanest I’ve seen). When we showed up we were the only ones there, and I don’t know why. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the crab Rangoon, the drunken noodles(spice level 7) and the drunken rice(spice level 7). I was surprised how perfect the crab Rangoon appeared on the plate, but when I tasted it was when I was completely blown away. I highly recommend these. The sauce that is served with them complements them perfectly. The drunken noodles were fantastic too. I would definitely order them instead of the drunken rice if I had to choose between the two. The drunken rice was good too but the other two were both of our favorites. The Thai tea was also good, but that’s the only Thai tea I’ve had so I don’t have much to compare it too (it was very sweet and tasty)! Also, generous portion size. Wish I lived closer and wasn’t just driving through, this would definitely be a regular spot for me. Some of the best food I’ve ever had!"
