"It is rare that I am so interested in a place for the good reviews, but when I go there it is a total disaster. I lost my appetite halfway through this cold meal. Maybe my group of 4 didn't know what the waiter was trying to do as if he helped us, but I think he needs training. This meal was a TERRIBLE VALUE for the money. With a 20% tip (which they do not get the review would have been about $105, with 3 diet drinks and a water. Four salad dishes I found for money extremely mediocre. And a very strange shrimp appetizer packed in fried noodles that neither looked good nor appetizing, but tasted ok. What's going on? It was that the waiter decided to give us extremely slow service, which led us to be the last people we served when we were one of the first to sit. We've seen 12 people get their food before us, not take customers. If there should be a very long delay, the waiter should have mentioned it. But he shouldn't lure before the appetizer. No one likes it, or maybe his training has no appetite suppressor timing. I had a grilled beef salad that had two things on the plate. A piece of raw, cabbage, uncut what the waiter said later, was only on the garbage, although this was a salad. (I had expected Veggies to be healthy. And the grilled steak? How sad it was, a small bunch of cut meat with a spicy water sauce. It took rice bad, but he didn't offer. There was nothing on this plate next to the small pile of cut beef and the indefinite cabbage. For $14 or $15, that would be near $20 with taxes and tip. What a Siam Joke. What a literal outline to sell as badly presented foods as their cut beef salad, but their photos on their website are carefully staged, not like the actual food. I'll never trust this place again. What a joke, what a demolition, what a bad service, what a bad waiter, what a deorganized kitchen (can not get orders together and just what bad air conditioning. What a loser of a restaurant that is! I wish I had taken a photo of the moderate meal that was put before me."

"My husband and I had dinner for a special date night at Ka-Prow. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The best part of our experience was that I could enjoy a fabulous restaurant with a large gluten-free menu that was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. When we sat down, I was given a nice menu that only included safe options for me to eat. This was a first for me as I am gluten-free, and our server was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked if there were any other ingredients I needed to avoid. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but for someone like me who can get very sick from cross contamination with gluten, this was truly life-changing. Tonight, I was able to enjoy a meal with my loved one without worrying about anything but overeating! Thank you to Ka-Prow for serving up healthy, amazing, gluten-free options. Chef O, thank you for creating such an incredible place. We will definitely be back!"

"However, we had to wait a long time for our food, which was understandable given the busy atmosphere. The order was split, with the second half of our food taking at least 30 minutes longer to arrive. I was a bit disappointed, though, as I never saw our original bartender again after she took our food order. We were never offered a second round of drinks, and our glasses had been empty for at least half an hour. Despite this, I could tell that the bartender was skilled, and it might have just been bad timing that affected our service. I would definitely give the restaurant another chance, even though I was left wondering about the poor service I experienced. Overall, I think Nickel City deserves another opportunity to impress."

"At first glance, the exterior of the restaurant and the surrounding businesses didn’t look very appealing. However, upon stepping inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and cozy the atmosphere was. The menu featured a wide variety of dishes, but I already had my heart set on curry with chicken. They offered five different kinds of curry, which I had never encountered before—I always thought there was just yellow curry (lol). The waiter was very helpful and recommended the red curry, and since I’m a spring roll enthusiast, I couldn’t resist ordering some of those as well! I was pleasantly surprised when the spring rolls arrived; unlike many other Thai restaurants that only serve two, I received four along with a side salad! They were absolutely delicious, and the peanut sauce was delightful too. When my red curry finally arrived, it was a fantastic culinary experience. The dish contained bamboo and a generous amount of chicken, which added to its appeal. When it came time to settle the bill, I expected it to be quite pricey, but to my surprise, it was even cheaper than other places. I paid $6 for the spring rolls and $11 for the curry, and it was definitely worth every penny! I look forward to returning to try more dishes in the future!"

"Met up with a friend I hadn't seen in two years, and to change things up we walked up and down College like in Before Times. Saw the menu outside and it looked just right. We walked in and the hostess asked us if we wanted to sit away from the crowd, closer to the window (she later explained that there was a large rowdy party and didn't want us disturbed. So of course we were immediately amazed by her thoughtfulness! And then it got better. I got the pork pumpkin curry, my friend got an asparagus dish and both were seasoned beautifully (have been to some Thai spots where it tastes like everything was topped with the same sauce). The food came out quickly, and were in generous portions as well. We lingered to talk, and never felt pressured to pay and leave, and even had a lovely conversation with the hostess/waitress as we were finishing. What a wonderful way to catch up with a friend and really feel like part of a supportive community again."

"We have been coming here for the past couple of years, the food is normally very good. But during the most recent visit my Nard Nar was tasteless. The vegetables were under cooked, the noodles were swimming in blend liquid, the noodles and chicken had no taste. Wonder if their regular chef was off for the day and they had a guy that doesn’t know about Thai cooking?Hope our next visit will be much better. The waitress was as nice and friendly as usual."

"(3.5 stars) The sushi is absolutely top notch. Some of the freshest I 've ever had in South Florida by far. Yes it was very pricey, typically about double what you 'd pay in a neighborhood joint, but the quality is without compare. Definitely worth treating yourself. Unfortunately the Thai dishes and appetizers were barely tolerable. Just so meh , not even up to neighborhood 'burb Thai joints. Very disappointing. The gyoza were stale and old-tasting, the rock shrimp were plentiful but the sauce had no flavor. Even the hamachi jalapeno appetizer had great fish but not much else. The massaman curry was just ... boring. The design is polished and the soundtrack cool but unobtrusive. A welcome relief from hip places blaring EDM!"

"Nare Thai is one short block away from the Long Beach convention center and worth the short walk. The walk there is up a really steep hill so I wouldn't recommend walking for those in a wheelchair or have difficulty walking.Food was really good with a few dishes I haven't seen. Try the Mee Krob, a crispy stack of fried noodles, my favorite tonight. The lychee tea was also a big hit, as was the curry and pineapple fried rice. Recommend!!Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes come with your choice of protein, including shrimp, chicken, and tofu .Kid-friendliness: There's outdoor seating on an open patio so if the weather's nice, antsy kids can run around a little and not bother anyone."

"This restaurant in downtown Canton used to be one of my favorites. However, it has declined in quality over the past few years. The last time I visited, I was served the least fresh sushi roll I've ever had."

"This restaurant in the south Miami area serves the best Asian cuisine. It is a fantastic spot for both lunch and dinner. The family who owns the restaurant are exceptional people. Our waiter, David, the owner's son, was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was the best Asian cuisine I have had in years. They offer Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and possibly other dishes. My girlfriend and I discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and now frequent it. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to David and his family."

"Today(4/21/20 I ordered the crunch roll, two crab Rangoon orders and and the vegetarian spring rolls. I’ll admit that after reading the most recent reviews...I was a bit skeptical, but I wanted to go ahead and give them a chance anyways as the menu looked good. I most certainly haven’t been disappointed! My whole order tasted amazing, and it cost under $20.00 for everything! The front house staff is super nice and the whole process was quick and easy. I’ll be a return customer! Thanks again Mint and Lime :"

"So bad taste after Covid. It can’t even call Mala. When I visited this place before Covid, Mohinga soup was the best but not right now. They use fried tofu every Salad and even Mala but it can’t eat coz it’s hard as a rock. You should try another Burmese restaurant, it’s called ‘ Burmese Bites’ at Queen’s Mall."
