"that was our first time in coqueta. that was delicious. we had several tapas plates before we eat the seafood paella. the smoked salmon was spectacular! we were disappointed at the service. over 3 hours for a meal was more than we had negotiated. we sat almost 30 minutes before we quit. Once we finally knocked down a waiter, it took at least another 15 minutes before we got our drinks (but not yet water on the table.) I couldn't believe that the personal wonders about the tables while it is for the guests who try to tie them down. it's like we're not even there. such a disappointment – especially after learning that michael chiarello has the facility. I would have expected more. we enjoyed eating, but we can skip this for the next time because of the unacceptable service."

"The food and table service were amazing and we had a wonderful time with one exception. The reason for our visit was to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday so I noted this in my open table reservation along with a request to serve our dessert with a candle, unfortunately this request was not delivered to our waiter."
