"The food was wonderful. However, the staff seemed perplexed by someone actually having used Open Table for a reservation. It took a while to get that straightened out. Also, although the restaurant was basically empty with a lot of larger tables set for parties of 4, it would not accommodate our request (we were a party of 2) for one of the larger tables. A larger table would have come in handy given the number of plates and glasses employed in our dinner."

"I can't say how good Shyan is. First, it is surely the best Indian/Pakistani food in NOLA. The cheese naan and Paratha were not only good, they were great. They had an extra taste I haven't found anywhere yet. The Chicken Tikka Masala had taste depths that every connoisseur of Indian / Pakistani cuisine knows is from the highest level. The Goat Karahi was spicy and met in all the right areas. I couldn't choose any favorites between the two Gravy, but they were both remarkably delicious. The service was not good. Very friendly and welcoming and it is a cozy little place to have a fantastic dinner."

"Ordered for pick up/take out as that is all they are open for. We got there a little early and the food was already ready! It was piping hot. We ordered the chicken Tikka masala (butter chicken), 2 garlic naans, vegetable biryani, and plain lamb keema. The flavors were outstanding, though the portions on some of the dishes are on the smaller side, they pack all the flavor! The butter chicken is so creamy, it's amazing. The lamb was tender and delicious. Since we got two meats we got the vegetable biryani and it was a great choice. We had a little leftover of the biryani, that's one of the dishes that's a good portion size. The food is delicious and the service was quick. Highly recommend Naan-n-curry! They are on the pricey side, but it is totally worth it."
