"Our son, visiting from Florida, wanted to go somewhere different/interesting and quiet so that we could enjoy a relaxing dinner and conversation. After suggesting several local places, we decided to go to Aago since none of us had ever been there and it looked as if it met our criteria. This is not your typical Indian restaurant although it certainly has the typical menu items. We were intrigued by the Nepalese offerings which were, indeed, unique and delicious. We all appreciated being asked for the spice level we wanted. I, for instance, selected mild but the son selected medium and found his dish to be plenty spicy, but not too spicy. We selected two appetizers from the Nepalese list of food (the vegetable momo and Bhatmas Sadeko) and really enjoyed the different spice profile--not hot spicy, just different spicy. The restaurant seemed to do a brisk takeout business but on the Wednesday evening when we went, there were only a couple of other tables of diners. That suited us just fine! It was quiet, our server was attentive, prompt, and very pleasant, and the food was plentiful and excellent. We are so glad we went and even though our son has left, my husband and I fully intend to go there again next time we want a nice dinner out.Vegetarian options: Although we aren't strict vegetarians, we generally try to eat a mostly plant-based diet. Both of our appetizers were vegetarian as was my entree (saag paneer). There was a good choice which we appreciated."
