"This is now the third consistent time it has been deeply disappointing. The ambiance is great and the servers are excellent. However, everything else (the food) is not so good. You pay premium prices for small plate sizes. You would expect top quality food. However, the rice was surprisingly hard. The chicken was dry. The lamb so chewy it was almost inedible. The hummus tasted bitter. The water was unfiltered tap water. It seems they try to hide the poor quality of food by covering everything in thick sauces and extra spices. It is too much. I've had to scrape off the heaps of sauce from the 4 small pieces of chicken just to eat poorly cooked dry chicken. For reference, try the Mediterranean places in San Francisco, like Old Jerusalem and Yasmin. Mediterranean is my favorite food and I will sadly be never coming back here."
