"This restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. There's a lovely outdoor patio and cozy seating inside, along with a bar where you can comfortably linger all day. The place has an upscale vibe, so I dressed up in a nice shirt and slacks. I ordered the meatloaf stuffed with bacon, topped with thinly sliced, lightly battered onions, and served on a bed of mashed potatoes that would impress any grandmother. It was a real delight! My friend opted for the tenderloin steak, which was wrapped in mashed potatoes and achieved a nice crispy texture from a quick frying. Both dishes were incredibly satisfying and filling, making them well worth the price—$19 for the meatloaf and $28 for the steak. The bartender is attentive, so remember to take good care of him, if you catch my drift. I would definitely return to this spot again and again. Oh, and they offer absinthe too! I enjoyed a shot for nine bucks, prepared with a sugar cube melted down with cold water. It had a taste reminiscent of black licorice and packs a punch at 106 proof! My only complaint is that there were no leftovers."
