"This was a really nice restaurant, and a great experience. The resturant was tucked away downstairs in the New Yorker Hotel. It had a very cool speakeasy vibe, and a little adventure to find it. The staff were incredible and made it a very special evening. The cocktails were very good, and came out quickly. We also really enjoyed the food (porterhouse for 2). We were there early on a Tuesday evening before a show, so it was not very busy, and that may be why the service was so good. I don't really have anything negative to say about the place. If you are visiting New York and are looking for a cool place with good food and great service I would give this a try. There are more famous steakhouses in midtown in this price range, but this is a novel spot with a cool vibe and you won't have to eat in a shed on the street."
