"The Pink Cabana is lovely. However…… We made a reservation for 4 of us at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was was almost completely empty with servers just standing around. The VERY unfriendly Hostess told us that we couldn’t sit at one of the MANY open tables but had to sit at the bar. The other option she gave us was to sit around the fire pits. It was lightly raining outside and there were no chairs available at the fire pits. Just because we were having drinks and NOT dinner, she would not seat us at a table. Why? Do the servers not want to make money? Does the restaurant want to look pitifully empty? We reluctantly agreed to sit at the bar and a few more people came in the restaurant in the same situation as us-just wanting a cocktail. So that led to eventually many people crammed around the bar asking one bartender for drinks. A bar back then came to help but the whole situation was just awkward and unnecessary. We left after having one drink. Who’s to say if the Hostess would have just allowed people to sit at one of the many empty tables, we would have ordered more drinks, an appetizer, and then stayed for dinner? On their Open Table page, it says that there is a minimum $50 per person food and beverage charge from 5-8:30 pm. Terrible policy! It puts the Hostess in an awkward position by having to tell people about their ridiculous policy and guests getting angry and feeling awkward-and meanwhile, the restaurant remains empty."

"All right? What was always after reviews it was no longer. A star because the place was clean, saw and feel cozy, 1 star for the hostess and buses boy outside the kitchen -00000 stars for the kitchen?. Unorganized, and really uninterested to please the customers, they are just for a Buck. They were there for Easter Brunch and had a set menu, which was good? it was almost $50.00 per person and did not contain drinks. At this point we decided? Easter and a set menu is not so bad. Now it was, drinks were not proportional, and the more people came and ordered the mimoses, the smaller and smaller they came out of the bar. We started with salad and shrimp bisque with cream parry? ? Salad was half the size of the person sitting next to us, a few minutes earlier than we arrived. Not only that sloppy with muddy leaves we see at the bottom of the container when we buy greens in the grocery store and forget that they were soggy there. The bisque with that? either missing the cream Fraiche part, or they could have added an 8oz container to an entire pot, so it was not just a very thin one? Bisque?, it was less than warm, absolutely rough. Tested like potato water with salt and pepper and crushed shrimps above? When I took a summit under the hot plate, they had bowls and bowls health department would serve a feast of the right ups, as foods have a danger temperature, especially when it comes to pork and SEAFOOD) of the so-called bisque. I understand that NM is hot, but if you serve a bisque or soup, does it have to be hot? then serve it hot, not barely hatch warm. Our duck the ?prime rib?, we asked for medium, came back in warm, but rare, when we complained our waiter told us the cook decided to boil it down because he always complained too many to be done about, not only that they just beat the meat on the top of the? roasted vegetables? and mash potatoes make the mash potatoes **** pink and the vegetables so The dessert was a carrot cake. Absolutely dry and of course 2/3 less than what the next person had?. The guest next to us looked at our cake and said, "Are you not cheated? Finally my coffee? Forever to bring it and then hatch warm Our waiter took his sweet time out of the way with the dirty dishes that we stacked the dirty dishes and placed it nicely so we could have room for the next course as our table was small. No, he brought the next course and left empty hand as he needed to continue his conversation on the hot plate table that didn't keep the food hot. No statement of personnel, kitchen or nothing? We felt we got the remains at the full price. When we got out, they still took guests. I wonder if they lick the plate with carrot cake crumbs with a pretty design, do we have a couple to turn? I"

"Great dinner as always, beautiful views and great food. Have been here multiple times?this is a nice break from the typical ?tourist beach restaurant? experience. The food is wonderful, great flavors and presentation, and a very good cocktail and wine list. As there are big glass windows facing the bay, no matter where you are seated you will have a great view, especially as the sun is setting during dinner. Dinner was excellent, portions are nicely sized, and usually come with a small addition of rice or a vegetable. Some of the meals come with a side, others don?t depending on the meal, but you can order from a side selection if you like. A couple issues; one is that because the restaurant is very open to allow everyone views of the bay, the flat windows, walls and ceilings allow conversations to bounce around the room and it is extremely loud with all the tables full and everyone talking. Definitely needs some some professionally placed acoustic sound treatment panels, which would easily take care of the issue and drop the volume significantly. The other was for some reason our white tablecloth looked like it had been balled up before being put on the table?weird because it was so wrinkled it was noticeably distracting. Price is as expected for a nicer beach restaurant? we averaged $70 per person for a meal with cocktails, wine, and desert. Would recommend?definitely! Will we come back?absolutely!"
