"Loved this restaurant. To run around their docks to see how people feed the many Tarpon fish of all sizes. Had drinks in their bar and then went to the dining room with many windows and views of the water and the yachts. Our meal was notch and so was our waiter. We ordered 2 bottles of red wine, appetizers: tomato soup, fish with vegetables, shrimps and a free plate of cheese bites. All were very good. Our ducks were excellent: Sea bass with sweet potatoes and green beans; Cario Fish and Halibut Dinner. Vanilla ice cream for dessert. What a delightful day for good food and atmosphere."

"Great selection of fresh, delicious oysters, including the buttery Chesapeake Bay oysters and the Ruby Salt oysters. A mouthwatering appetizer menu that can double as a page menu. They offer traditional sides of Koleslaw and Fritten as well as homemade potatoes. (Dear Staff, potatoes mashed must be served hot, not lukewarm. OYSTER SHOOTERS are on the powerful beer and wine menu. The front of the restaurant is a casual dining area with a large bar. If you are looking for a quiet area of the restaurant, there is an amazing back space, with garage bay doors that are in fresh air, overlooking the classic fan houses on South Addison street. For Dessert, I had the rich and decadent chocolate mousse. They also offer key lime cake and cheesecake. You can make a reservation, but I came at 6 and sat right away. For this lively RVA'er, he remembers Awful Arthur's during his flowering period. I loved the atmosphere and I will definitely be back."

"Excellent steakhouse! I am from Texas and my grandparents grew up in the Middle West, so I know a good steak, and I am often unable to find one in the northeast, even in higher places. That said Rocco 's Cowboy Ribeye didn't disappoint! Yeah, it's $70 for a steak. But you know what? I was to soooo many other places and paid $50 for a steak that was 't very good or that the restaurant could 't even cook right, so I will like to pay $70 for a perfectly cooked, high quality steak. Icing on the cake is the service. It was always nothing but extraordinary. At a recent visit, Ashlie took care of us very well. The drinks are strong and cost on par with other restaurants where they are regular strength, so I would say they are priced on drinks. I really don't understand why people complain about Rocco being too expensive. We spent over $200 pre-tip for 2 people and I felt it was worth every penny."

"AMAZING NIGHT AND AMAZING STAFF. We arrived 15 minutes late after our reservation and called to let them know. The hostess was honest with us and let us know they may not be able to accommodate (at least they were honest) THEY CALLED US BACK twice to ask if we were still going to be able to make it and we did. It was our anniversary night and they had a beautiful card awaiting us. The service and food was amazingggggg they serviced us even though they were closing (we felt bad but they didn’t even seem like it was a problem) they brought us out an amazing anniversary desert STILL. I just want to thank you guys for making the night so special and i would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic night dinner (before closing) or beautiful day by the water. Thank you guys."
