"the food was good with the exception of my steak tartar. Instead of the usual and expected preparation it was served as three sliders. the buns of the sliders were the sort of pastry one might expect in a cream puff. The meat was not chopped finely enough and I had to ask for mustard since the preparation did not have any. I prefer grey pupon (spelling? in it but the restaurant had only grainy French mustard. That was just OK. The fish was good and the caesar salad was good too. It was just the affectation with the steak tartar that turned me off."

"This restaurant is without a doubt where I can find my favorite chicken pot pie. It may be surprising to find such a delicious dish at a bar restaurant. The pot pie comes with a flaky and tasty puff pastry, which is why I always order an extra one! However, the lobster mac and cheese was a bit bland in my opinion."

"The food was delicious. We had the lamb chops and the pork chop. Both were juicy and flavorful. The service was impeccable. The waitress was attentive, but she didn't hover. My only complaint is that we were seated close enough to the kitchen that for nearly the entire meal I could hear a timer go off. The waitress said it was for the pasta. Next time I will ask for a table further away from the kitchen."

"restaurant was empty (small private party in bar area and another table of two) but eating lasted 75 minutes. no apologies or announcements, we had to ask what took so long. eating was best moderate, very disappointing for the southern farewell. cornbread tasted ulcer and steak was over boiled and hard. the prices were high for quality. will not be back."

"I left here on Friday night and it wasn't a whole house. the service was very good, no complaining. eating was just their basic Italian tariff not bad, but not really good and for the prices it should be better than that. the restaurant is extremely dated and must be refreshed in any case. the thing that it did for me was one of the workers who started to turn off the lights, which indicates that it was time for them to go home. there were at least 4 5 tables that still eat, dessert, etc. totally rude and insane."

"We went the first night we arrived in New York and enjoyed it so we returned a week later on our last night. Seated quickly, water arrived with cutlery in real napkins and menus. Ordered the Tapas menu, chorizo nachos and fillet mignon sliders. Both were washed down with generous amounts of red sangria. Seating inside, a bit loud because of the music, but good street seating outside so you can watch Zoo York go by. Price is at the higher end, but the price is worth it because of the food quality and service. Definitely eat here, we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the interesting people of Spanish Harlem."

"visited this place a few weeks ago because it was kind of late and we wanted a good burger. I had no idea that they had a formal escaping at the top (from all play away.) we were not in the mood for the bar vibe that they had down, so I was relieved that they had the upper floor area. my bf had a burger (which was really tasty), but the fries were remarkably overcooked (normally I wouldn't even mention it, but they were really hard.) I had some brüsseel sprouts because I had already eaten and they were quite delicious (a little spicy, that was unique with some thick cut speck.) the waitress was friendly and the drinks were decent. if I ever find a good bare late in search, I will definitely come back to ormsbys. for further food reviews, follow @thebougiefoodie."

"This was my first time stopping at this restaurant, although I've passed by it many times without going in. Today, I decided to meet a friend here while waiting for the traffic to calm down. The place was very cozy and comfortable. We settled onto a couch by the big screen TV, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. There are plenty of seating options—whether at the bar, at tables, or snuggled up on the couches. The drinks were good, and the food was delicious. The slot games and jukebox were nice additions, too. We'll definitely be coming back!"
