"This unexpected little cottage on the side of the road, is too cute for words! The finely manicured grounds with an abundance of beautiful flowers is striking to the eye. Figurines, decorative plates on the walls and antique trinkets, like various soup tureens are placed throughout the restaurant. The decor reminded me of my grandmother's house. A cozy and classy atmosphere that would be perfect for a bridal or baby shower, truly impressed me. Even the fact that they have tons of space for plenty of customers amazed me because looking from the outside, it doesn't look that big. Since we visited Mrs. K's on THE HOTTEST day of the year, it was no way on earth we were sitting outside, but the patio area was very inviting. Our table had a beautiful view of the patio/backyard, so we were still able to view the beautiful landscape. The patio/backyard reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. As we looked out the window, we saw a little brown bunny hopping around, and that solidified my Alice theory. Ha! Unlike the Sunday Buffet Brunch, the Saturday brunch is offered on the menu, with limited options. You receive an appetizer, main course and a mimosa for $28. I was in a crab mood, so I ordered the Maryland Crab soup and the Maryland crab omelette. The soup was really delicious. It had plenty of crab throughout. The omelette that was accompanied with potatoes was really well prepared. We did have a slight snafu earlier in the brunch, but the manager came over and offered his sincerest apologies. Our server didn't seem to be that familiar with the menu, because we had questions on a few of the dishes and she either didn't know the answer or gave us false information. However, she was rather attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance and the food, but I won't be in a rush to come back on a Saturday. I think the Sunday brunch may be a better option. Beautiful space and a change from the normal brunches I've attended in the past."
