"Joey’s, A jewel in Wynwood. Its Friday Night, walking around the Wynwood area, not real agenda, when suddenly my friend and I walked in front of Joey’s as someone was coming out of the restaurant. The aroma from this place was so good that my stomach made a sound and begged to go in, however we ignored it. A few blocks later we look at each other knowing “we are now hungry” so we start going into several restaurants looking to see where to eat. None had that wonderful smell that came out of Joey’s so we gave in and walked in. This is a very charming little restaurant and we were quickly seated. The sangria was very good and very appealing to the eye and the Bruschetta Fresca was very tasty . I was not feeling very adventurous, so I kept it simple and ordered Spaghetti al Pomodoro, the pasta was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. My friend ordered the lobster and vegetables, I had a bite and it was very good. No Italian meal is complete without a little dessert, you know, for digestion! So we had a sampler plate to taste all. Plenty of pastas and pizza choices in the menu for everyone. A casual restaurant with great food, stylish patrons in the Art District, can’t go wrong with that. Would I recommend it? YES!!!!!!!!!"
