"the ambiente and the location are the only thing that is nice to this restaurant. in the four seasons, they get the impression that this is an upscale restaurant. - No! the service was terrible. our waitress has rarely checked us. eating was not very good either. our chewing gum bowl was less than half full. the appetizers were so bad that we decided not to order any escape. also the menu was very limited. there are too many better places to eat in nola, so don't waste their time and money!"

"I expressed my concern about the heat at our table from the gas wall fire located next to our table to the hostess when she directed me the table. It was very hot seated outside next to a long , gas wall fire literally just a few feet from my back. Even the chair backs were hot to the touch. She seemed very annoyed and short with me and offered to seat us indoors next to the piano which was pretty loud and so dining outside was much preferred. It was a very early seating and there were plenty of open table options which could have been rearranged. Dining at this restaurant in summer and fall is about the beautiful view and outdoor seating is what we requested and were looking forward to. We sat there next to the fire anyway. It was very uncomfortable. We moved the table ourselves about a foot farther away from the flames and it was still hot but tolerable. I would think the hostess could have moved the table when I said it was too hot to sit there but she didn’t have any interest in my request. The managers Will and Lucy are very friendly and professional. They have a lot of great choices on the menu and the food is very good. The piano player is excellent. We have dined there for many years even decades but I have never been treated with such disregard by a hostess."

"I gave them a bad review because they canceled our entire reservation 2 hours before dinner. I made the reservation before the time for our group from 16 on Thanksgiving eve. at this point, to cancel 2 hours before dinner nothing else available. they should have given me much more attention. I would have booked carmines or somewhere else that has a better call, but I went with something convenient to my family who lived in the city. they should have called me earlier."

"I enjoy dining at Vista with a view of the mountains and the soothing sound of the piano. The meals are delicious and offer a sensory experience. Despite my food allergies, I was able to enjoy the Ahi tuna, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts without any sauces or extras. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and tasty. A good chef can enhance simple ingredients without overcomplicating the flavors. Vista is my top choice for dining in Eagle County."
