"It was my wife's birthday and we were never asked if we were to celebrate. It was our first time in this facility and we had to ask for bread. If bread on request a first customer would not know. I do not say that bad services were given, but there is definitely room for improvement. For many it is the small things that make a good experience a great one. Our server was not bad, but the overall experience is not what I would have expected from a place that is considered a fine food."

"My husband and I went to Oak Thursday, March 8th for his birthday. I selected this restaurant because of the reviews and some word of mouth. I had no idea how far it would exceed my expectations. I actually stopped by a few hours before my reservations with a car full of balloons and pulled through to the valet and told him I had a reservation later but wanted to drop off the balloons now. The valet got the manager and he poked a little fun at me and took the balloons and said don’t worry we got it. Our reservation was at 7:15 we got there around 6:50p. The hostess gave me a wink and said go to the bar and we will get your table ready. The manager came by while we were at the bar to introduce himself and told us about the various cuts of meat and flavor. It was exciting because we generally eat vegetarian and vegan at home for health reasons but my husband loves steak and chicken. My husband asked if they had a chicken and steak combination he said no but he would figure something out. Oh Boy did he figure it out; red carpet style. They created a fried chicken appetizer just for him and I had the crab cake and the server added several things for us to try, each dish being more exquisite than the last. My husband had the bone-in filet, I had the 8oz filet both prepared medium rare yummmmm so good, just perfect. Service from the valet to the server was impeccable. Food and drinks were amazing. We came in as customers and left as friends. Thank you for making us feel like we were royalty."

"Both couples thought the meal we received was excellent in preparation and presentation. The meals we ordered were wonderful, especially the French onion soup. My petite filet mignon was cooked to perfection with Bernaise sauce to enhance. Both couples will certainly return, since this was a dining experience, not just a normal dinner out. The ambiance with period decor also sets the Harris Ranch apart from the ordinary"

"Cool place with a casual chic atmosphere. Not too trendy, not too classic, just the perfect mix. Vichy tablecloths, red leather seats, copper and wood. Fun monkey illustrations on the wall. The room in the back is a bit fancier. Good cocktails, decent selection of wine. Live piano when we were there on a Saturday night. Service was not enthusiastic but good enough."

"We had an amazing experience at the Front Porch yesterday. I thought that a reservation would not be required and was not correct for prime dinner hours. We were offer a high top in the bar area but went to the bar instead and that turned out to be perfect. The bartender was very gracious, friendly and made fanastic featured drinks that you should try on your own. Sal, the Chef, prepared mahi mahi with crab imperial that is to die for. That was on top of homemade cabbage and bacon along with potatoes. My wife had New York strip with crab scampi that was very good. All was delivered by Sal and when he returned to the bar area, we complimented him on the awesome meals. All other employees were very friendly as they chatted with us as the created custom drinks for their patrons. I can't wait to back back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks Sal."

"This was our second visit and truthfully, it wasn't quite as good as the first! It was still really good though. I deliberately ordered the exact same choices as before, because I enjoyed them so much the 1st time around! Also because I have often felt that restaurants don't always live up to first impressions, so this was a bit of a test! I was hopeful that this one would and for the most part it did, with just a few little disappointments. I am still a fan though and will definitely go back!"

"This was an excellent place to go before the theater. Our waiter was very cognizant of our timing and helped us have a wonderful meal and get out the door and plenty of time to make it to the theater two blocks away. My husband and I had drinks, the wedge salad and pasta and everything was delicious."

"The food was so in the Canyon Lakes Restaurant Brewery. I went there for her Super Bowl party and I had her Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, which was ok and I had her barbecue chicken wings that were also ok. I ordered a Sangria, but I didn't like it and got a glass of Merlot instead. The staff was very friendly and our server was good. They were late for the Super Bowl party and I thought they had through the time we had there (2 pm). The owner told me about the use of one of the high chairs to keep my wallet and bag, and I told the manager, I didn't like what he said because there are many chairs available. He finally apologized for what he said and I accepted the apology."

"We dined al fresco for dinner. The chairs were comfortable, but the general seating area could benefit from more lighting or ambience. We waited at least 15 minutes and had to alert the hostess that our table had not been served. The service was very slow. I ordered a dirty martini, but it was served in a gimlet glass instead of a martini glass like the other tables. The food was good, but not exceptional. Perhaps it was just an off night. As we were only visiting, we would not be returning. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"I am a very frequent flyer at the Caucus Club for several reasons. First and foremost, the food is incredible and should be under serious consideration for a Michelin Star. It is most renowned for wood fire-grilled USDA Prime steaks, both wet and dry-aged cuts. I had the featured butchers reserve cut Australian Wagyu New York Strip that melts in your mouth. Other entrees I 've enjoyed include lake perch, halibut, lobster tails, pork chops, 10oz filets, dry-aged ribeye, and tomahawk. Need I say more? Sure. Additionally, they have an awe inspiring wine menu. It offers over 150+ quality bottles of wines from all over the world, ranging from bubbly, whites, reds, blends, new world, and old world. If wine isn 't for you, the high-end bar will care for your needs with the most premium selection in town. Another reason to come back is the classy interior design of the restaurant. For being completely restored, they did an incredible job at keeping the old school vibe. In closing, I recommend the Caucus Club to everybody except my enemies, and I obviously wouldn 't patronize a business with poor service or bad owners. So, considering the length of this review and all the things I 've said, the service is excellent, and the owners are amazing."

"A little disappointed in this restaurant. Very excited to go out to dinner with my friends and have good sushi but it did not measure up to my expectations. I had an appitizer which was delicious but i order two sushi rolls for dinner on was the Azie roll which was delicious but the shrimp tempura was not the best. It was put together very nicely but the shrimp was no where near fresh. It was chewy and tasted like it had been fried the day before. Also the service wasn’t good. I had an empty water glass for most of the meal after asking the waiter twice to please refill it. Unsure if I’ll be back here anytime soon."
