"So thrilled to have Kanak in Charlottesville! My husband and I are huge Indian food fans and Kanak has really set the bar high! Every element of everything we have ordered has been consistent perfection. Spices are beautifully balanced, textures are unmatched, and the amount of food served is just right. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable about their menu, always willing to give recommendations, and are attentive throughout every sitting. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Great to see so many people eating there at lunch on a Monday. If we could eat here every night we absolutely would! Can’t recommend Kanak cville enough!Vegetarian options: The best place to eat if you are vegetarian! So many options, but the eggplant and okra curries are my favorites!Parking: In the 5th street station parking lot so there is plenty of parking very close."
