"Took a guest over the weekend, am disappointed to have gone here. Only one type of Roti bread, only chicken for meat every other place I see Two varieties of nonveg chicken and goat or fish and food taste was average, not the Akbar food that I experienced much earlier. Many other places give a much much larger spread, more so on a weekend. Silver lining is that there were few customers that meant no wait time like at other restaurants"

"Google should bring zero stars. This restaurant deserves that. Food tastes extremely bad. Too much oil and the oil is not fresh. The prices are extremely high. Not worth for the food you get.The sad part is if you visit this restaurant, you’ll end up paying more than what you’d pay if you had the same food from other indian restaurants nearby. 15% service fee for literally zero service. Not recommended anytime for anyone."

"It’s just ok, the chicken currys are just average! Did not feel something special in the restaurant just okay. Maybe the sizzling dishes are the strongest dishes in the menu. "Cholanad is the best kept secret in Chapel Hill. The food is outstanding, service is wonderful, the ambiance is diverse. I have been here with a large group of friends and sat outside, on a first date in a quiet corner, at the bar to watch a game, and with my family of multiple generations. This is my favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, mostly because of the food. And dedicated parking!"

"I was understandable that I came here for the evaluations of employees, but. I'm so glad we came. the personal was pleasant enough. I think people need to realize that there is a cultural difference, and since the staff may not speak to react the way they are used. they are also very short employees. our server was very polite, short in sets and direct, but super beautiful. on the important part. that was amazing! soou a lot taste. huh cool was not my favorite dog I tend to eat vegetarian. the windshield pakora and accompanying chutneys were very nice. we ordered chicken tikka masala spicy and wiper makani medium spicy. both were phenomenal. I will certainly stick with the spicy option tho, because their spicy not only a dry chili powder is added. tho I never eat not veg I had a few pieces of the huh tikka masala, as it was quite delicious. tender, juicy and full of taste. the disc makani was amazing. the engraving was rich, creamy, thick and full of taste. the cheese naan and garlic naan were made clear fresh, fluffy and simply perfect. the mango leti was the perfect addition to our meal. tipp: order a side of tweeper to add a nice taste to your gravy. tipp"

"We just moved to the area and have been quite disappointed with the level of hospitality and quality of Indian food at the desi restaurants we’ve visited so far.We actually discovered Garnish by accident while making our way to the Grange Food Hall next door. We changed our mind last minute after we looked up the menu and saw dosa.It felt like we won the lottery! My husband and I were blown away with every dish we ordered. The Mysore dosa was out of this world! So was the samosa chaat and bhendi masala.The decor and atmosphere in their restaurant is very tasteful, and inviting. But most importantly all of the people from the host to the servers were so friendly and hospitable. I haven’t seen this kind of warmth and accommodation in a very long time. We will definitely be back again soon."

"Did a pickup for chicken tikka wrap, malai kebab wrap and paneer roll.The wraps were good , just did not like when I had to wait another 25 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Wasn’t even busy they were going to close in the next hour or so when i placed the order. They probably started preparing when I went in.I would call them before going to their restaurant the next time I place an order for pickup no matter what the pickup time is."

"Parking Space Affordable Service Staff Courtsey Inside Waiting lounge This place has a great ambience with good staff service. On weekends reservation are safe options.It is highly crowded and you might not get place without reservation. Specialities in Veg starter for us was Soya Chap. Non vegetarians might love it too. We were advised to have pahadi chicken but that was very spicy. So if you are not comfortable with green chilly do not opt for it. Dinner was served on time. Service was comparatively quick.Sweet dish deserves special mention. Try the one I have posted, Its tresleches! Overall good choice of restaurant."

"Food was edible, but not great.Chicken/Lamb Korma: Extremely sweet sauce, tasted nothing like any other korma I’ve had in my life. Portion size was a little small for the priceGarlic naan: Very thin and chewy, not how a good naan should be presented. Garlic on top was burnt but didn’t taste off otherwise.Tiramisu: Frozen, but I understand that most restaurants do the same so no points off for that. Tasted okay."
