"Despite still being on Opentable as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us protection free! MASKLESS. My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the opentable app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on opentable of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. If anyone would like to know the restaurant that was open, and we were able to walk right into with no reservation, it was Fat Rosies in Naperville . Thanks Fat Rosies, ur restaurant is awesome"

"I loved dhaba. the portions were generous and the service was good. unfortunately they have changed. the parts are now small and the service is differentiated. our server was uncomfortable and uncomfortable throughout the meal. we tried to have a meal with a small group of friends, and he tried to interact and take our attention to the worst wise. he also managed to spill food over the table, my coat, pullover and my pants. no formal apology was treated by the restaurant that treated the situation very casual. would not recommend."

"EXCELLENT FOOD SERVICE. Arrived at ~7:15pm on a Tuesday and there were plenty of seats (which is a shame), they should be more popular. since one person in our group was stuck in traffic, the staff kindly took our order and arranged to bring it out when our friend finally did arrive. Food was literally sizzling hot and steaming when it did come out. Everything tasted divine. Water was always being topped off. My friends and I met to catch up after 5 years of not seeing each other and the staff let us stay later even a little past closing time. They also helped us take a group photo and had their newly arrived party (of people they knew I believe, not new guests) move out of the photo's background. Definitely check this place out!"

"The food and service were excellent at this restaurant. The Madras Coffee and Garlic Naan were some of the best I've had. The Tiffin and South Indian items were delicious and authentic. "We visited last Sunday and their Paneer Kathi Roll is something I had never tasted in my life, it was outstanding in terms of smell, taste and MAINLY presentation. Presentation for all the food reminded me of fancy cafes of INDIA!!! I am surely going to be their regular customer from now onwards. I just hope they maintain everything just like this because good customer service is very rare especially on Oak tree road restaurants, but one should definitely come here for good customer service, great food and nice ambience neat clean with soft music around, they have great vibes in indoor dinning. "Mint has recently gone through an ownership change, but they’ve kept the name and the same menu as the previous management. There’s some growing pains, but on the whole, the food is still quite tasty. I think they still need to define (for themselves) what is meant by ‘mild’ vs ‘very hot’. Also, new items like the coconut shrimp need to be refined a bit too much sweet coconut milk can diminish the subtle flavors of the delicate shrimp. Will go back!!"

"There was this person standing outside the restaurant and was serving gol gappe. Boy I was surprised to see a person literally serving u gol gappe. Saw this only once in US in New Jersey before.The price was $10 for 8 pieces but it was worth it. Asked him for a good place to eat lunch and he recommended the place he was standing in front of( as expected). Went in and ordered chole bhature and aalo tikki chaat.Chole bhature were good but aalo tikki was dry. It had loads of chutney and yoghurt but still felt dry on the palate.5 stars for the gol gappe but not more than 3 for the food served inside.Host was very friendly and I liked the way he treated the customers.Maybe next time , we would try more dishes and get better taste."

"The majestic chicken, mysore bonda with 2 different Chutneys were delicious and yumm. I can order them again when I'm here. Cut mechi, Lamb biriyani were also good. Mango Lassi was moderately sweet in contrast to other Indian restaurants that give you diabetes in a sip. The waiters can be friendly, wear a smile. The place was busy in a weekend, but the service was fast. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Austin MSA."
