They have a beautiful bar and open kitchen where you see the chefs cooking. There is instrumental piano music playing in the background. The food was delicious. I can't wait to dine in or take out."

"The food was fantastic, and the service even better. Vic was great and super attentive to our group. We were there for business and it was a great experience. We started with a slab of bacon which melted in our mouth and immediately clogged our arteries. I had the Pollo Rustico which was fantastic, and we also had the Branzino, and Chilean Sea Bass and of course the drinks were spot on. Food was really superior and nothing disapointed."

"A gem! Happened upon Filippo’s for a late lunch/early dinner after the tony Italian restaurant across the street refused to seat us despite having called for a reservation. We had a group of six and sampled many of the small plates: burrata, mussels, brussel sprouts, shishito peppers. Tasty well priced local wines on the daily menu. I enjoyed the porcini mushroom/black truffle entree which was one of the day’s specials. Ended with tiramisu, panna cotta, teas and cappuccinos. Good service and great prices. They even have a covered, heated patio which is open for dinner. Definitely will return when in the area."

"Had family in for a visit and had just been to Staplehouse two nights before. While this place doesn't quite compare, it's a great option closer to home for us! And, reservations were much easier to get! Small but adequate wine selection and menu options. The white asparagus soup and chicken liver paté were excellent. Flounder was crisp, flavorful and buttery on the outside and tender on the inside. Rack of lamb was cooked to perfection. Strawberries and rhubarb dessert topped off the dinner perfectly. We will be back."

"I have been planning to write a review, but I always forget to take a picture because the food is so good that it's gone before I remember. This restaurant is seriously delicious. Not only is the food fresh and appetizing, but the portions are also generous. This place would fit right in the heart of Italy. Whether you're ordering takeout for yourself, trying to impress someone, or catering for the office, you can't go wrong with this place. The chef there is also very friendly."
