"We came here last minute for my grandmothers 80th birthday party not really expecting much since this neighborhood tends to pander to hipsters. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. Giuseppe was such a great host and a knowledgeable server. His recommendations were exquisite! We started with the ceviche le Tigre and a starter with octopus Our mains were aji de Gallina which was out of this world! Lomo saltados. Absolutely delicious. Pollolito which is enough food for two people all so very very good. Giuseppe brought out a tres leches cake and we all sang happy birthday. It was such a fabulous meal. On top of the food being delicious we really enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 Would recommend. Can’t wait to come back!"

"I haven’t been here in almost a year. Today my dad and I finally decided to stop by. We’re satisfied with what we ordered. What I love the most about this restaurant is their “chicha morada” very very authentic to the restaurants back in Perú. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Every 5-10min they’ll check on us. Mind you, it does take a while for the food to arrive. Worth the wait though. I’ll definitely stop by more often"

"I've been to Warique before and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, they don't seem to take open table reservations very seriously. At the door, first I was told that they couldn't find my reservation. After I showed them the confirmation email, they said that they weren't taking open table reservations on this day, and was asked to wait half an hour. Do not make reservations through open table, they will not honor them!"
