"The food is good here, just dislike the fact how the guys with the curly hair treats his customers. Doesn’t have appropriate customer service. I can tell he gets very ticked off easily. I love the food here but try avoid it because I just feel uneasy when he’s the cashier, kinda rude."

"Great Mexican with a great selection of ingredients and well put together meals. I had a burrito with the verde pork and it was flavorful and delicious. They also have some great chips though I was a bit disappointed in the flavor of the salsa it didn't have much spice to it. One thing I was extremely happy to see were the tamales on the menu and enjoyed the chicken tamale immensely that is something that can be hard to find up north. Seating is limited but it is a great location for take out. Well worth your time and money to stop by."

"Everything was fine if not bland. The proportions in the Burritos were terrible, very little pico, carne asada (despite the upcharge), or guac (again, despite the charge). The Lengua was delicate and well cleaned, but was hardly spiced and would have used a little sailor or something. If it were relatively cheap, I wouldn't care, but a $15 burrito shouldn't be 70% rice. In the area there is a love for good Mexican food, but it is worth going to places like Taqueria El Amigo to get the good stuff. Also Los Amigos right in Newton is light years better, and less expensive."

"The Street has transformed the sleepy Village of Chestnut Hill from a supermarket, a CVS, and a gas station into an upscale thriving community retail area with something for everyone. "It's a version of Mexican fast food, a place where you can order something to entertain yourself when you're hungry. Now, when you are paying your bill, you have the option to leave a tip but to be honest, I don't think the service deserves it, you order at the register and you have to get up from your table to pick up your food as well as cleaning your table. I left the 15% of mi bill as a tip but the employees are , in my opinion, not friendly at all, We didn't feel welcome."

"sweet little place with a few different vegan cheese options listed on their menu. they have vegan tacos, mol, and they can even make fried jalapeños filled with cashew cheese. amazing! "We had just left the bar across the street and wanted some real food so we came to this place. Figured we’re buzzed and wanted to try something close by.3 out of 5 in our party did not enjoy their food, they all ordered tacos and were upset with the food quality. 2 of the 3 did not eat their food, the 1 person that did got food poisoning from their Al pastor tacos.The other 2 guests who enjoyed their meal ordered a steak quesadilla and chicken torta.Margaritas were pretty good."

"So first off the bathrooms were outrageous graffiti, no toilet paper, feces smeared on the walls. The server seemed friendly enough but the margarita I ordered with patron was not patron when I told the server the drink did not taste like patron she simply stated Well it is I didn 't argue. I would like to say the bill came but it didn 't she had a handheld and showed I owed 130 but I could not see what I was charged until I paid. I will never come back to this restaurant and highly discourage anyone looking for a good meal and friendly service. I was also charged for a side of guacamole I never ordered or ate. Save your money and just eat at Chipotle."

"I was originally looking for Laredo Pizza Company, but couldn't locate it. Luckily, I came across Fonda Don Martin and decided to give it a try. I had an excellent lunch today with albondigas and a cup of fideo soup. The homemade tortillas were fantastic, and the beans and rice were also delicious. The only thing that didn't impress me was the salsa, as it lacked flavor. Overall, it was a great meal with attentive service."

"Fantastic dining experience! I had been excited to visit Popol Vuh since it was first announced it would open in Northeast! What an amazing meal, start to finish, the flavors were amazing. We started with the ribs, then the ceviche, then shared the roasted cauliflower along with our main dishes of carne asada and chuleta (pork chop Al pastor). The ribs were awesome, incredibly flavorful. The ceviche light and refreshing. The chuleta was the most delicious pork I have ever tasted. The carne asada was perfectly prepared, charred on the outside, medium rare, as recommended, on the inside. The cauliflower was smoky and wonderfully seasoned with mole verde. Mexican chocolate mousse was a perfect dessert. Don't skip the cocktails, they were incredible. Each one we tried was unique in its combination of flavors, awesome mixology!! Thanks for a great date night!!"
