"Come on, y'all. As others have said, we really wanted to like this place, it has great potential. I love off the beaten path bars restaurants, and the building is lovely. So we've tried you out 5 times or so. Every time was a miss. In the evenings it feels like a bar run by high schoolers who have very recently discovered that they can get fucked up while on the job. Consequently, the vibe is low rent and, to me, profoundly uncool. The food is what it is. It would be perfectly tolerable were it not for the disinterested bartenders and the overall amateur feeling of the place. That kind of thing comes from the top down, and if there's no one setting a cool, welcoming tone at the top, no one further down has much of a chance either. Fortunately, there is one improvement y'all can make that's an easy fix dim the patio lights!! Seriously, it's like dissection table lighting out there. You have a dope outdoor patio in a quiet neighborhood just throw up a few strings of bistro lights and you're golden! For reference go peep the patio right up the street along that block of 17th with the Thin Man that's the vibe. We'll try you again, we're rooting for you, but you've got to give a ****."
