"I was here with my husband and year old son, who was excited to pay for dinner with his first paycheck. I didn't complain and that's my fault but so much went wrong and I couldn't take any joy from my son. His face was ear to ear smiles when asking me how good everything was. My main lobster was literally raw. The tail was split and it was sitting in the shell. Only the top was cooked, everything in the shell was gray goo. My husband saw the look on my face and texted me to say something. My spiny lobster was extremely overcooked or just dried out. It smelled so bad, I only ate one bite. My drink, I got the new rum candy drink and if I didn't know better, I'd say the bartender forgot the alcohol. It tasted like a watered down tropical koolaid. Again, my husband said I should say something. The bill was Which is pretty expensive for people but not for steak, lobster and drinks, if they were cooked and mixed correctly. I let my son pay and I covered the rest and tip. I can't imagine going back when I feel like no effort went into our food."

"Our food took very long even though they were not busy. The server was very polite but the manager took over our order bc it was taking too long. He came with 2 items missing and the steaks were over seasoned and the lobster tail over cook. I ordered a chicken Cajun pasta to go at the end. When I got home the chicken was the one you get frozen from any grocery store. This not good. I don’t care to pay whatever when I go out to treat myself. But is not good when I can tell ingredients are from the target next to them!!! I have a problem!!! I use to love going to red lobster in my town. Not anymore!!!!!"

"The waitress was wonderful. The food was good. The front desk staff? Not so much. I initially called to make a reservation and was told they don’t make reservations under 8 ppl and to go through opentable since it had a “wait list” that would hold my place in line. I did that and once I arrived, the desk staff were not only monotone but unsympathetic and told me that “yes it is a wait list, but.. yeah, you still have to wait 40mins because that’s our current wait time”. Talk about irritating, what’s the point of telling me to even go online in the first place? When confronted about the misinformation of the “wait list” the girl behind the counter just kept repeating “we only have three waiters”. I understand staffing shortages and had zero qualm with that, that was not where my confusion and frustration came from. Needless to say, this situation was not handled properly by the front desk nor was it actually addressed."

"went for my nephew's 17th birthday. food was literally rancid. coleslaw was fermented and rotten. lobster was rubbery. sodas didn't have any carbonation, completely flat. no bartender, so those drinks were 99% syrup. not to mention, all of our orders came out either wrong or missing something. horrible experience and none of us ate. left scared we'd get food poisoning from the few bites we did take. waitress said she'd had issues all day and she wouldn't eat the food either."

"WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER Red Lobster gave us the best rehearsal dinner deal we could find anywhere! There was no deposit or venue fee for a private room with a projector or a private part of the restaurant (if you have more than the 35 people that fit in the room). We gave them a ballpark headcount in advance, but it didn’t cost us anything when we had fewer guests than expected. They let us choose our own menu and printed it for us at no extra charge. They were courteous and attentive at every step of the process. We felt like royalty. They even offered to set up a separate bar for us so our guests could get their drinks faster. And we just paid for food and drinks plus 20% gratuity. The food and drinks were great (big servings, so lots of folks had leftovers). The staff was polite and never in the way. During the planning process, Red Lobster was our most responsive vendor. I love Red Lobster and this is a great location. I recommend it for a normal night out (we come here often) or any event."

The cool part of it is that he said he's usually in the back-cooking... but extra shifts pick up waiting tables. "The service was good with no wait on a Saturday evening. Most of the food was enjoyable, especially the Papageia-Isle-Kokos war. My daughter's steak exceeded our expectations for a seafood restaurant. My husband enjoyed his lobster, while my shrimp dish was disappointing. The shrimp were overcooked and some even tasted like lighter fluid. Unfortunately, I got sick afterwards and won't be ordering it again. The waitress forgot to refill our drinks, which was a big issue for me as I need something to drink while eating. Despite these issues, I would consider dining here again and sticking to a steak and salad."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant with a vintage atmosphere, which was a refreshing change from the more modern feel of the few remaining locations of this popular chain. I enjoyed a delicious meal of rainbow trout, caesar salad, and a baked potato, paired with a 20 oz Blue Moon Citrus beer. The restaurant was quiet and clean, our server was efficient, and the shift manager even stopped by to make sure we were happy with our meal. The service was prompt and friendly, and the meal was reasonably priced. I would give Captains a 5/5 rating."

"Dinner was perfect! Rainbow trout was grilled for perfection, its green beans were fresh and just really spiced, and the baked potato was very good. I love the salted skin. Hubby had fish and chips. He referred to the fact that he expected for the price more than a piece of cod, where than, in another local restaurant, the North Atlantic cod with 2 pieces for a dollar less, with the same pages (Fries and Cole Slav). But their cookies are to die! They beat a bland dinner every day. Our waitress was very nice, informative about the menu items and made her job very good. When we needed refills on drinks, she was asked to see if we needed something extra and asked how our meals tasted. The restaurant was very nice and clean, and the ambience was also very nice. Definitely a 5 star from me and would recommend to others to dinate there too."

"We enjoy this basic chain seafood restaurant when bringing back memories from years past when we first met. Crab, Lobster, and seafood are reasonably priced. They have a call-ahead-seating feature on their website now I was thankful to use it. Waiting 30-45 min inside or outside for a seat on a Friday evening isn't my idea of a good time. They also are using a cell phone number for notification of your spot in line. The service was good. Friendly faces attentive service are a good thing. The wait staff was a bit bogged down at times but nothing awful. We enjoyed our time together enjoyed the food."

"Went to Red Lobster for my Birthday August 9. We were sitting with the menus for about ten minutes before our waiter came over to the table. Then he took our drink orders. We waited for drinks about 10 to 13 minutes. Then he come to table and say did yall see a white card? We like NO. He like that's the card I need to put yall order in. We looking like what. So another ten minutes go by finally we get drinks. Then he take our order. 30 minutes later our food come. No lie. We were there a very long time for nothing. But we don't have everything we ordered. He like I'm sorry I should have came and told you we don't have potatoes cooked it will be twenty more minutes. I'm like dude... you can't be serious? When our food finally did come out it came out cold. My Shrimp linguini was dry and cold. Very sticky. I'm like what is this? Never got the potatoes and yet paid for the whole meal. We went there about 1:30pm. The place was not full and it was clean. I just don't understand why the service was not good. He was a young guy but it seem like he wasn't ready for work. He only had three tables. One guy that sat behind us and two ladies that sat on the side of us. Everyone was ordering the all you can eat shrimps. After ordering we suppose to put in our next order...never got to do that cause this dude ghost. I hate that. Looking for the waiter or waitress. Once again paying for a meal I didn't get to enjoy. Ugh"
