"Dayton style pizza. Anyone not from Dayton is likely to find 'Dayton style ' pizza to be nasty. Generally the recipe is thin crust, square slices, lots of tangy sauce, and small toppings covering the pizza. Given that, Marion 's is a perfect example.I grew up in the area and went to this location many times. The decor is outdated and the place looks kind of stale, but it 's not trying to be artisan food here it 's a pizza parlor. Last I recall, they still only accepted cash. Also, this place gets away with charging as much as they do because it is as much of a gathering spot as it is a restaurant. Almost every time I go, I see kids sports teams or organizations meeting up to eat there.Anyways, being a native of the area and having grown up on the stuff, I still love it. I can bash a large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms (don 't care that they are canned), and sausage (don 't care that it is tiny and looks like cat food). Somehow, it still tastes awesome."
