"We were looking for a good steak, and decided to give Ribeye and Rye a shot. Various websites indicated that Thursdays were “Steak Night”. Typically that means there is a discount on steaks. That was not the case at Ribeye and Rye. Their Steak night consisted of a free dessert with ANY entree, not just steaks.We were pleasantly surprised with the Ribeyes! They were well seasoned and very meaty. The quality was great and well worth paying full price!!I deducted one star only because of the dessert. They could have definitely kept that!! It was supposed to be a strawberry shortcake. Instead we received a tough piece of angel food cake with some whip cream and strawberry sprinkles. If you are going to put that as a freebie… please make it a good one or allow your patrons to order a dessert off the menu!!"

He never made us feel rushed and had a great conversation with us about the restaurant which we were visiting for the first time as we stopped in Springfield on our route to Oshkosh. "I was here three times last year. It's fast downhill. The first time I loved everything. The second time the food was chewing and the service was slow. Recently I made 8:00 reservations, came at 7:40 and had to wait until 8:50 to sit. People who had reservations after us because the hostess didn't know what she was doing. We ordered drinks that never came and it took our waiter well 15 minutes to remember that we asked to see the dessert tablet. No problem to remember bringing us the bill as soon as we put our forks down. Too bad. It was really a great place. I don't think they could handle how well they did. Even her food changed everything is chewing as if it was eaten and heated. Never back."

"We were never here, but wanted to try. We were with another couple. The bar 1019 has such a cool mood. It is very nice without pretension. We could catch up with friends without screaming so the sound level was good. Food, in a word, phenomenal. Actually, so many options to choose from. We had children on both sides. I was there with another couple, but as parents, it's child-friendly. The service was wonderful. We were asked several times when we need something, our food was fine, etc. Our server had a wonderful personality. Honestly, everyone we met was kind. We will definitely recommend Bar 1019 and look forward to our next visit"

"The service was not great. Our server either didn't know how to make the coffee drink we ordered or didn't know it was supposed to be at least warm. She didn't check to see if it was even ok, we had to flag down someone else to get another one. Food was good, came out in good time, but the server just seemed new. Plus they are adding a service fee (which they give a flyer for when you come in without the of 8.5 ."

"Our server was never informed that it was my buddies bday! This was placed in the open table reservation. The server blamed the host who most likely blamed open table. The food is a bit expensive but the quality was good. Because this was a special event the food everyone had was good but I had to keep requesting drinks. I have ate here before and the food never disappoints but the service for what we paid should be able to anticipate that you will need drinks and just have them flowing and then this would be good. The tables for a guy my size are a bit narrow but I will say this slim shaming booth trend is an epidemic in all expensive restaurants."

"We waited 20 minutes for our waters to be filled. Then ordered two junior burgers which came out another 25 minutes later. The burgers did not come dressed- they were 2 smaller, sort of smashed up patties, in a bun. It was 8:30pm on a Friday night but there were only a couple of tables being serviced at this point and a few people at the bar. Maybe there was a private event upstairs which could've taken over the waitstaff and kitchen, but regardless, the service and food value was quite poor. On a completely different note, the music outside was extra loud- we could barely hear ourselves talk. We live in the neighborhood and have been to Juniors a few times so this was a disappointing evening overall."
