"This was my first time dining in. I have ordered takeout and it was good. I invited my cousin to dinner and I chose the restaurant this time. I ordered Alfredo with chicken. There was two pieces of what they said was chicken and three small chunks that seem to be cut from a strip to make it seem as if I received the proper amount per the meal. "Love this place!!!! Old school italian food at its finest. Hope they come back bigger and better, although its hard to imagine them being any better than they were before. I asked the owner if he'd be willing to put tripe on the menu and he said it's possible.... A month later its on the menu and its amazing!!! It's the only place on the island that makes good tripe so I hope they open again real soon because this is what dongan hills needed!!"

"Dave's Italian Kitchen lives! This new spot is smaller and cozier but the calzones are still great value. $12 will get you a huge one, nearly big enough for 2 people.. wish they had a better variety of fillings."
