"I went to Rico’s tonight for dinner and I want to compliment how the girls handled a situation tonight that I witnessed. I heard them getting yelled at by a customer over a price issue meanwhile another table yelling at the girls for talking to their customers, doing their JOB! I must say you can’t make everyone happy, but the the girl with the glasses who handled the unrealistic customers was very professional. I even got up to joke with her about it because I saw she was upset from being talked to like that not once, but twice. I’m sorry, but it’s noisy in any restaurant and if you don’t want to hear people talking, go eat at home or outside. It’s simple. Aside from that, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. All 3 girls working were very attractive, attentive, and smiling. Kudos to whoever made the cellphone rule at Rico’s! Job well done ladies and sorry you had to experience terrible customers tonight! You handled that well. I’ll be back : Robert"

"great service. ribeye steak is excellent, dry aged, buttery and tender and was perfectly cooked for ordering. the creamed spinat was solid and the beet salad was fresh and a great start to the meal. the cocktails were very kreatiw and well made especially the tiki italia. the employees were all very attentive and worked as a team to ensure a first-class experience. it's pretty loud, but also has a beautiful romantic ambiente. eating is very high for a fair price."

"Absolutely sensational! Service is exemplary and if you walk in the area overtakes you. It's very nice. We sat in a place of choice, able to see the entire room. When our friends arrived, I accidentally knocked a plate off the table! Well, the staff has thrown in and cleaned it so fast, just wow! The menu is wonderful, I had a chicken dijon fattyuccine dish that was stellar. Another dish was lamb and let me say the food is phenomenal. I didn't think I could finish everything, but, you know how it works if it's amazingly delicious! Take your friends, take your family, but especially after you arrive, take your time. Soaking, this place is wonderful. And the desserts, THE DESSERTS! We even walked into the bar to drink after that. Good food and good times here. Loved it immensely."

"So disappointed. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip and we got something that resembles soup, as seen in the photo. With a tiny half loaf of bread. I have been a patron of Rico's in Sarasota, and I will never go to this location again. When I contacted the delivery service they called and the store said sorry about your luck, it always looks runny like that, no refunds. Pizza was mediocre at best. Won't be giving this place my business ever again."

"arrived for reservation. waited check in desk for minutes before being helped, asked if we wanted to wait in cold outside, I told them I had reservation thru open table, never asked for name or even checked me in. waited near bar area, nowhere to sit since bar was filled with wine bottles. A Mon daughter arrived minutes after us, Group of arrived minutes after us, and they both were seated before us! Everyone we saw getting seated weren't even getting served, so after another minutes we decided this was not the place for us and left"

"Kateryna is extraordinary! Get out of town, dinner was fantastic!! We had terrific service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. Do not skip the garlic knots they 're wonderful, fresh dough, dollops of enormous, wonderful flavor and tons of garlic. The side of grilled chicken is a terrific portion that hit the macros (in case you were wondering) and pasta portion was tremendous. Serious, the service was extraordinary. I worked in the industry for over 10 years and I was totally impressed by Kateryna! Her assistant, the robot server was awesome for the experience too, everything came out piping hot. For sure- go hungry and leave so, so happy."

"First, staff was super nice and restaurant was very clean and food was done under 20 min (also it was 4pm), but they didn’t swap quality for quickness. Pizza perfection!! 18” stretched nice and thin so it’s crispy and chewy at the same time and has a really good flavor that just adds to the depths, delicious red sauce with a great tang of good quality tomatoes, cheese that is real cheese!! I tried to do a one bite review, but trust, it was many many bites before I wrote this. Also, I got the Alfredo for my knots, this stuff isn’t coming from a can. Hard to decide if I like the red or white better both so flavorful,… And best of all, I found it they have green olives, and pineapple, safe to say, see you next time and many more to come."

"While the food here was absolutely delicious, and worth the $30+ per plate price tag, there were several aspects of our experience that left a sour taste. The $6 price tag on a small soda felt excessive, not to mention the unnecessary comment of the server to inform us gratuity was not included when we asked for the check, it makes the whole experience fell cheap to me when a person does that. Additionally, the restaurant was empty when we arrived, yet we were told a reservation was needed, despite no mention of it on their website or at the entrance. This gave the impression we weren't truly welcome, possibly due to having a child with us. Overall, the food earns five stars, i was just in italy last month and the pasta here tasted just like in italy) and the servers were nice and respectful, but the exorbitant soda price just add an extra dollar or two to the food items and you’ll make more money and avoid looking like a beggar) and questionable policies detract significantly from the experience."
