"We have visited Halcyon many times before. The service is wonderful. We are regularly impressed by the waitstaff. Generally, the food is also outstanding. However, on our recent visit, we found some of our favorite dishes to be a bit off. Most disappointing was the ambiance. At a nearby table, a child (probably somewhere between 5-7) was watching an iPad while two adults and what appeared to be a somewhat grown child sat with them. The iPad was so loud, we could hear every detail above other tables, fairly loud music in the restaurant, and people at the bar. Issues pro/con iPads to entertain your children at the table aside, at what point should an expensive, fine dining establishment address noise from patrons that is obviously disturbing to others?"
