"Pleasantly surprised. I had not visited this place in six years that's how bad the last experience was. In the mean time there was a change in ownership and it made the world of difference. It is now run by a husband and wife team. Bettina was the server w an excellent disposition to help you in any possible way. From smoothies to steaks it is perfect spot to take a get a bite or a complete meal."

"It's nice but there's no parking in the area really. Valet parking is the best but it took forever for the valet to come around because there was only one guy. The food and drinks were decent and it was nice that they gave us a delicious sorbet for dessert. My only qualm was somehow my order was forgotten. The person I was having brunch with got their starter and so did I however, when their main dish was served I did not get mine. I was sitting there for more than 20 minutes waiting before the server came back around and realized that I had not yet been given my main dish. I didn't like that at all. Everything else was fine."

"I really wanted to like this place, but won’t be returning. On first impression, the decor of the restaurant was nice. The tables were quite cramped though. I like my personal space and definitely didn’t feel it here with waiters squeezing by the table every two seconds. To drink, we had water and a cocktail. The cocktail was the saving grace of the meal and actually quite good though certainly overpriced for this class of restaurants. Water refills were non existent as were any questions about how our food/experience was during the entire evening. We politely didn’t make a scene about our experience, but we weren’t fans... On to the appetizer. We ordered the bread. What we got tasted like cheap stale white bread that was hard and cold along with a piece of butter with some salt on it and some olive oil dipping sauce. One hour later and some apologies for the delay by our waiter (glad they at least acknowledged the delay), our main dishes came out. The spaghetti and meatballs was fairly bland. Meatballs were okay at best and there was almost no sauce on the pasta. The other pasta dish was decent but quite light on the sauce. We considered trying the cannolis and they looked decent at another table, but after spending over an hour in this setting we had had enough. Those around us seemed to be having poor experiences as well. Noted the table by us sharing that one person had finished their meal before anyone else even received their food. The table on the other side of us sent some stuff back. We enjoy dining at non chain restaurants and like to see them do well. We hope the owners take some time to reflect on this feedback and the feedback others have shared... if they don’t I wouldn’t be surprised seeing this establishment closing down do to a lack of repeat business fairly soon."

"As a native Argentine, I knew I wanted the best food in the world at our wedding. So of course we had BAC Cater. And since we've been friends of the family for years, we knew they'd take care of us. They appeared on time with all their own devices and made our kitchen dreams come true. Everyone was above the moon for the mouth irrigation empanadas, salads, steak and diabetes induce cakes that the chef arranged for us. We have leftovers for days and everything is still delicious. Jen and I would like to thank you from below on our hearts for the amazing service and amazing value you have brought to our hearts and stomachs. Love, the Scopps"

"Latin American casual dining at it's finest. I love that the chef owner (don't know her name) is about as friendly and welcoming as they come. Parking on the street just outside of the restaurant is super easy and free, which is a delightful change from the norm in Walnut Creek. From empanadas, pollo asado, pescado frito, lomo saltado; everything is delicious here, and portion sizes are quite generous. Expect to pay about $15 $20 per person for dinner, and $10 15 for lunch. Love the interior decor kind of a hybrid of traditional Latin American pieces with a modern vibe, and we've never had to wait for seating. There's also pleasant outdoor patio seating for al fresco dining. Please come and support this delightful restaurant. Honestly, they deserve to have a line out the door."
