"The food, drinks, and atmosphere are fantastic here. Since we had three people in our group, we ordered and shared as much as we could. The ceviche was a little on the smaller side for the price, but excellent in taste and quality. The roast pork and chorizo sandwich was complex and savory, with an excellent cuban bread used as the foundation. It was a little salty, so having one of the many juices, smoothies or shakes on hand is ideal. I had the orange and vanilla smoothie, which was refreshing and flavorful, without being overly sweet. I tasted some of a mango smoothie as well, which captured the sweet and tartness of fresh mango perfectly. We also got fried yucca, black beans and rice, and cheese bread, all of which I would recommend. We tried a chicken empanada which was very tasty and beautifully glazed, as well as a ricotta and mozzarella empanada which was in the words of my girlfriend (a Wisconsin native) like a 'Cuban cheese curd '. In short, it was a fantastic first visit to the diner, which also has a more formal dining area in the back which we hope to visit soon!"
