"Two thumbs up. We were a table of 3, ordered 7 items and was served and out the door in 40 minutes in a Saturday night at 6:45pm. That was incredible service. This place was very lively and loud. A bit upscale so avoid jeans or shorts. I did not seekids inside but saw a family outside with the kids eating Mac and Cheese. My favorite was the mango guacamole as well as thespicy sweet corn. Dishes are moderately sized. I suggest getting a variety of items and sharing. Plenty of veg options."

"Really disappointing. We honestly should have politely just paid for our drinks when the chips and salsa were brought out. That was the first sign. The chips were old or overdone. They were SO hard. Salsa was okay. We ordered breakfast tacos, and they were also a disappointment. The bacon was overcooked and hard like jerky. The country sausage looked and tasted like hotdogs. The two stars are just because our waitress was very nice and service was good. The food was just not that great."

"Please do not go to this restaurant. The food is horrible. They don't even know what a corn tortilla is - they only have flour tortillas with a drop of corn to imitate it. The tamales are old and taste excavated. Additionally, they charge you an unreasonable price as if they don't understand what you are saying. This place is dreadful."

"I came to Los Reyes at 11pm on a Tuesday night with one other person. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like and had menus brought to us right away. The customer service was top notch, two people waited on us. The food came out pretty quick and waspresented neatly. The food however, lacked in flavor. The refried beans tasted like they came out of a can and the tortillachips fresh out of a plastic bag from the grocery store. The rice tasted a bit stale like it had been cooked in the morning andwas sitting out all day. The fajita meat did taste nice though. Overall the food needs major improvement but the friendliness ofthe staff was great."

"This is some damn good food. Authentic flair, I felt like I was at the mercado in Juarez. We got the nachos (not a normal entree we get, but they were fantastic! . We also grabbed a brownie-loaded piece of cheesecake. I'm not sure if they make their own desserts but it was honestly the best cheesecake I've ever had. I bet this place is packed during the weekdays at lunch! Excited to go back and try some other numbers on the wall."

"I was disappointed by my San Diego Taco experience until I visited this place. Surf and Turf Tacos were excellent, they would be back in a heartbeat. The tortilla chips seem to have made house too and the best I had in a while. And the house Margarita was one of the best I ever had. Also the carne tried aside fries since it was a San Diego thing. It was good and hearty, but Prunk wouldn't get it again. Good service and cool mood overall. Recommend one of the comfortable cabins inside when available."

"I love this place. The food is always good and the staff are simply lovely. Special notice for the Tortas Cubana which is a monsterous beast containing all the meats. Another treat is the poster of US presidents...it seems to have stopped at Obama!"
