"From the minute my dining room experience liaison me in the last minute I was overcome with satisfaction. After Lauren put me on checking my menu within minutes, she had samples of the soups of the day. Both amazing! I soon shared with Lauren that this was my first visit to this fine institution and asked for recommendations. She kept giving a slice of tuna salad heaven with me within minutes. Come to find out they are famous for them and their super secret family recipe for which they even turn around the Oprah show. Smart movement in my book. As a graduate of the famous CIA I love if I find these gems and don't sell them. Stay with the roots and the basis of the original dream. In my travels I have often found the people who usually seek fame FAIL. Let your food and your staff speak for you. And I'm dying! So I felt like a warm meal, as today was cool and sprinkling. Lauren told me I tried her pastrami... it was all that should be pastrami! I also had the Matza soup. Guess what? I bought a few to go home. Overall, this was a real Nana experience. I miss describing more than words, and that reminded me how I felt to visit them and cook with them. Thanks Nana's and thanks Lauren for the sunshine on a dark day. I just took pictures of my surroundings, because when the food came, I just wanted to eat it... I'm sorry!"
