"we decided to visit after the church. it wasn't busy. I would say it was about 1/3 full. eating came pretty fast. my sandwich, the Katz-Meow, was okay. I wouldn't get it again. the cheeseburger of my sohnes, the carnegie or something, was great. the buffalo chicken salad of my wife was pretty good. my son ordered cheesecake and it took a long time to get out. too long for something they just cut. eating was a bit expensive, but the atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. we will try again."

"Tried One Eyed Betty’s for the first time and we would certainly be back for more! The decor inside is really brilliant. The food was great. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, Sweaty Betty, chicken sandwiches, Betty Burger and some Tacos. Everything was delicious. You have great pommes. We ordered the donut of the week Dessert to Oreo donut. It sounded like it would be very rich and sweet, but to surprise, it was very balanced. Oreo mousse and chocolate syrup were well added touches. Finally, I wanted to mention the waiter we had. Probably one of the best waiters I've ever had. He was very attentive and great to answer our questions. Thanks for a great dinner!"

"If you are looking for a run of the mill with pleasant service, Sage Diner is the place for you. I stopped this morning at 7:30 and the place was a ghost town, I was the first person to come and they opened 30 minutes ago. I sat at the counter and was greeted by a waitress who was hearty and sweet. I searched the menu and a cup of coffee that was remarkable for Diner coffee. I ordered the full Sage Slam, which is a take on Denny's breakfast, but still good. The pancakes were perfectly sufficient, and the over simple eggs were more about medium, which I didn't do so much with a button down. I'll say the bacon and sausage were perfect! Only a note, they are in construction, so from outside it can look as if they were closed. 7/10, would go again."

"Pleasant Cafe is an interesting experience with a great value. It's this perfectly preserved restaurant and bar straight out of the 70s, with a vast menu, unique specials, and a full bar. And it's very affordable! Don't go here with your nose up and quick to judge, it may look old but it has a really special atmosphere that many new hipster joints couldn't recreate if they tried. "This is the only place that I know that nickel and dimes the customers by charging for bags (a small sandwich-sized brown paper bag). I understand grocery stores, etc. charging for bags because you didn't bring a reusable bag to shop, but I've never seen a restaurant or deli do this. Extremely off-putting. This is another reason why Delmonico's is much better."

"Not sure where to begin-The meal was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in years-We started with a salad-Waitress brought a salad i did not order-I did not argue but did not eat-next was Lobster Bisque-never showed until we asked and then came cold-Finally after another long wait came the main course-My husband had the calzone which he left half-not good-he always finishes or takes home was not interested in taking home.My course was supposed to be their specialty-shrimp with bacon on polenta-crab cake and fritter-served ice cold-polenta had to be the worst i have ever had-no flavor-they forgot it needs butter and cheese-shrimp was tough and bacon not cooked--probably should have asked waitress to take back but at that point ready to just leave and go home and have dinner-also specialty on web$19 at restaurant $28-left tip not too sure why-I would definitely skip-Lure is right next door and that is a wonderful restaurant"

"got a Cuban thru door dash,the taste was great, main issue was that it was a ham sandwich lol,no black forest ham, no fresh ham just regular ham and no mustard on it either.I mention door dash because maybe they couldn't reach us to tell us they were out of the ingredients needed to and they did their best to accommodate the order?so don't want to completely knock them because it was still a good panini just not what i ordered and now I'm upset cause i half don't want to ever order from them because of it but at the same time it was really good so if made correctly i have no doubt it would've been quite good."

"Vine por casualidad y tuve hambre en el deleite de bagel, situado en Lafayette Street en el barrio de Brooklyn. "My wife and I wanted to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning in a different place. We decided on this diner because it has the oldtime diner look and we were not disappointed in that it did have the feel as well. All the indoor seating tables have a bright airy touch. There is a counter if you prefer to eat there. The service was instant. I had a short stack of whole wheat blueberry pancakes with coffee, the warm maple syrup in the metal pitcher was a nice touch. My wife had two eggs over-easy with bacon as well as coffee. We both were satisfied with our vittles. The clean bathrooms are downstairs. On a Sunday all metered parking is free and more than ample. Nice place for a change, Hastings is very quaint and great for a short Sunday stroll."

"The ordering and paying process was effortless. You scan the QR code and you can view the menu and pay right there. FYI there's a 20% tip added to the bill for fair pay for the staff. So the portion sizes of the entrees were large! The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy dish were huge but a bit hard . To be honest I haven't had a large, moist vegan biscuit before. The gravy was excellent! The polenta fries needed some salt but a tasty sauce did come with it. The Brussels sprouts were cooked well, I like them a bit firm. The breakfast sandwich really needed the gravy from the biscuits because otherwise it was a bit bland. I would return to try more options!"
