"Absolutely one of my favorite places in Portland! I grew up coming here with my dad, whom has also been coming here since they opened. I’ve moved to Coos Bay 3+ years ago and only get it when I’m in town now not often but it’s my most important stop and usually the first). The bahn mi sandwich, pate chaud and bahn bao are seriously best I’ve EVER had in my life, I crave them regularly. Their pastries are amazing but the savory and bread is what’s had my heart since a baby! I’m a chef and I travel for food; I can honestly tell you this one of, if not thee best hidden gems Portland has to offer! I’ve tried going recently though and noticed they are no longer open due to staffing issues :’ … I pray they can figure this out and can re-open ASAP!
