"My husband and I went there for the 2nd time and for the 2nd time it was bad service. It was slow, maybe a handful of people in the bar, and no one in the dining . For such a nice place they were super casual, borderline nonshalant about seating us (told us to go sit wherever in the bar). No we're here for dining room. We ordered drinks which took way to long come to us. We ordered our dinner (ribeye to share, prepared medium). When it arrived it was already cut (not over the moon for them to cut it for me), the steak was charred on the outside, super thin, and cooked well done. My husband doesn't like to make a scene (neither do I), but I told her I would expect this kind of steak from Applebee's, not from a fancy restaurant in downtown Minneapolis and I further told her that it wasn't worth the $34 that we were paying for it. DID I MENTION THAT WE WERE ALMOST ENTIRELY DONE WITH THE POTATO, ASPARAGUS, AND SALAD BEFORE SHE DAINED TO COME OVER TO SEE HOW WE WERE DOING!!!!! AND DID I MENTION THAT THE PLACE WAS PRACTICALLY EMPTY, SO WHY SHE DIDN'T SEE THE STEAK ON TWO PLATES ON THE SIDE OF OUR TABLE THE ENTIRE MEAL AND DIDN'T COME OVER. The manager came over, apologized (he should've comped the meal), told us the chef was preparing another ribeye (gave some crappy excuse about cut of a ribeye, like I don't even know what one is supposed to look and taste like). It's been a while since I've had such bad service as enough to call over a manager, but he didn't even offer dessert on them, or another round of drinks, NOTHING. Just some lame excuse to defend his crappy meal. We finally got a really nice cut of ribeye cook perfectly. It better not be because we had a Groupon. If they don't step up their service and staff, they're going to close and I wouldn't be a bit surprised."

"Although the Chef and the hostess had the best of intentions, our recent experience attending what was supposed to be the Sunday Brunch was extremely disappointing. First we had to wait an hour for service! We stayed at the table for 1 hour with just water. I had brought guests with the intention to be a great sendoff. We arrived at 1:36 which was later than our 1:15 pm. reservations but the restaurant only had a few guests. Each order of tea took at east 15 minutes and it was served without sugar, already mixed. The female waitress seemed afraid to talk and would hear our orders and leave, never to return until we stopped her. Twice I had to go to the kitchen and my guest one time to figure out what was going on. Note the sisters did offer a discount for the meal stating that the kitchen was closing down when we arrived. Closing time was 3:00 and if that were the case, they should have said so, we would have gone off and be willing to try it another time. It was a wonderful location and ambiance but horrible service and well below par food. The omelet was really just scrambled eggs. They ran out of biscuits (didn't tell us) and just brought us white bread!!Really for Brunch. No buffet because they did not have enough reservations. Shouldn't you have just said this at the beginning so we could exercise our options? The shrimp and grits were passable but our guests did not enjoy their meals. They did not get all items they ordered. We had delayed eating all day for this meal and instead got something less than a diner would offer. They did tell us they were recently from Italy and started this business in March. Our suggestion is to emphasize 3 things...improve the food, improve the menu, and certainly at least train the new female waitress to attend to her customers and display some personality. In other words customer service!!"
