"Sadly, although we have had good dining experience in years past, our party of seven was disappointed overall, especially because of a number of issues: (1) We were not given any explanation as to why we weren't seated upstairs as we specifically had requested. We had guests who had concerns about climbing the stairs as well as hearing conversation, which is why I requested upstairs. (2) When my husband inquired and asked why we were not upstairs when he arrived, he was ignored, which was rude. That night, there was an unoccupied table available upstairs during the entire time we were dining. (3) As anticipated, the noise level downstairs was generally too high for our party. My husband has hearing problems, and he was not comfortable. (4) My husband had problems with his order that were ignored by our waiter. Only after several complaints about the dish not meeting his expectations did a different waiter address the issue and removed the item from our bill. (5) One of our friends lost personal items when leaving the restaurant. She had to return to the restaurant the next day and go through the soiled linens in order to find her lost items. So, although we have been dining here since Geranio's first opened, I don't think we'll be returning. Very sad indeed."
