"As someone who frequents the Texas’s barbecue scene a lot, I think BT’s is okay. Similar to their name, I think their fried chicken sandwiches are the real stars of the show, but those tend to vary from overly salty to mildly bland. Their brisket is okay, not really melt in your mouth or juicy like a southern cut, but fatty enough to know you’re eating brisket. The ribs we’ve had before here don’t really fall of the bone and are a little on the drier side, which if that’s your thing then thats something to look forward to. I actually really liked the fries here which was the only thing that didn’t taste exclusively salty and are fairly well seasoned. The folks there are nice and there’s plenty of space to sit and enjoy your food. Overall, I do think this is a decent place relative to the northeast, but know that it’s not Texas or southern level."
