"before a concert in the adjacent huntington center we booked 6pm for dinner. we drove 75 miles, so we arrived at 1/2 hour early. we confirmed our reservation with the hostess and told her we would get a drink at the bar. she said she'd put us on a table at 6 o'clock. she never came. I had to take two steps to the stand of the host. she then came down and tried to put us on a high-top table that, if we were the reservation that we specifically asked not to be. when we asked them to sit on one of several tables that were empty and partially set, they told us they were for reservations. we told her we had reservations. then she went back to the Hostess booth and when I followed her, she was with another woman, apparently manager, and told me they had a table ready for us in 10 minutes or so. I went down and one of the waiters allowed us to sit on one of the tables and served us. the host never came back, although the man did, against the end of our meal. eating was best moderate. the place is more like a dipping than a restaurant."
